Soul Calibur fans are quite the large bunch.

I don't like the shirt designs and I'm a medium anyway. The art book looks good and the key chains are nice as well.

Yoda is about as awesome as Link was in SC II... Vader is not even close.

Answered my own question (hopefully).

Darth Vader and Yoda, characters from the Star Wars universe, are confirmed to be playable guest characters but exclusive to different platforms. Vader will be on the PS3 and Yoda will be on the Xbox 360, however it was stated in issue 179 of GameInformer magazine that “Namco was nice enough to concede that the second characters may be available for download on the respective consoles at a later date.”

MAY be, LOL. The $$$ they paid Lucas I'm sure is accounting for the downloadables. No PS3 owner is going to buy a 360 for Yoda., and vice versa.

Because it's cheaper and/or easier to just have one size, especially in a size that will fit most people, if it is too big.

Small would be a waste of time, medium as well, so it boils down to Large and Extra Large. Easier for a person who wears large to wear an extra large shirt then it is for a person who wears an extra large shirt to wear a large.

edit: And personally I think both shirts are ugly

In-store, it seemed somewhat implied that the mini-strategy guide was some dinky pieces of paper included in the pre-order dvd case. Definitely seems the Faceplate is the coolest bonus available. Sucks there's no GameCrazy around here, but I pre-ordered at a Hollywood Video, in the off-chance they actually get them. None of the other bonuses seem all that great
 
Looks like i'm going to cancle my order with gamestop and go to gamecrazy. I just hope they get the faceplate.
 
Hmm, it looks like Amazon is either missing the boat or they're going to pull the same thing they did with SSBB; wait til the buzz dies down and then offer a deal like a gc with purchase.
 
Just got back from gamecrazy and they had no idea what i was talking about. Als the collectors edition is not even in the system. They told me to check back in a week. The guy working there said he knowas about the collectors edition of the game but doe not know why it is not in the system.

yes whats the word on The CE at Gamerush and Blockbuster I got them to order me the special edition of Madden and hoping they can do the same for Saints Row. Would love the CE at Blockbuster
 
Definitely getting the CE for Saints Row 2,I will probably ask GC for a faceplate for free(on th off chance they are nice that day). I will also probably wait for a sale or vader confirmed on the 360.

I think i'm good on arcade sticks. I have the doa4 one and the one that amazon had as the vf5 one. I find it odd that the one I got has nothing to do with vf5 yet every place lists it as the vf5 stick. Atleast the sc4 stick looks like it has something to do with sc. I would get it for the ps3 and 360 but like I said i'm good on them and really dont have the room to put it any place to store it or the box.

I'm sure the exclusive characters will come to the other consoles eventually, but good luck waiting for the free thing.

- I'm waiting for my custom www.arcadeinabox.com joystick to come in. I've used the Hori sticks for the Xbox360 and they leave a lot to be desired.
 
Thanks for the list OP and all who added on. I was gonna preorder at GS to get the stupid keychain but I think i'll preorder at Gamecrazy and get the Yoda Faceplate then straight to Ebay and hope for a sucker. :D
 
Anyone know if you get the free faceplate from GameCrazy if you preorder the regular edition? I preordered the game a month ago, but I am just now hearing of these bonuses. If not I may just upgrade to the LCE. But I hate the white yoda shirt. Why couldnt it be black? I know.good goes with white, evil with black. Its bull.
 
I'm surprised Best Buy isn't mentioning anything about carrying the LE. They do tend to carry them for more popular games so what's the deal? I want to preorder the CE and get a calendar!

I would check out one from http://www.xgaming.com/. All you need is the one stick and just get an adapter for the system you want to use it on. Only thing is they are having an issue with the 360 and M$. Microsoft for the most part wont let them release the adapter.

To get somewhat off topic I still wish the "VF5" arcade stick that came to the USA had the artwork the one from Japan has. The US one was just the ex2 that came out around the same time as VF5 and every site sold it as a limited edition VF5 stick. Atleast the SC stick has artwork to it. I might buy it for the 360 only if i have the cash to blow. If I see a fighter that I like for the ps3 I might end up geting the one for the ps3 also.
 
I'm going to wait and see if Walmart does anything. I was planning to use my $100 Gift Card from the MGS4 PS3 Bundle to get this game and a 2nd controller.
 
Has anyone had bad experiences with gamecrazy delivering the preoder items? Over the years, I've been screwed over by GS more times than one, and this is the perfect oppertunity to find a new place to preorder from.

Yeah, the GC I went to for GTA IV hid all of the faceplates (and kept them) and I was the only one able to get one. It was only after persistently bugging them and telling them I knew about the pre-order gift that I got one.

- The X-Arcade sticks have had very poor reviews from a lot of users on the Shoryuken forums. The PCB and stick materials are not that great.

I guess its YMMV on the employees then. *sigh* Hopefully my local gamecrazy will be different.
