We have had a million topics asking where people get their news from, generally we hear the same ole same ole NYtimes, Fox, CNN, reuters etc etc. I am just curious though, do any of you use anything other then these sources?

Personally I am a big fan of Foreign Affairs.

It is interesting reading articles being published by the politicians themselves as well as experts in given fields such as economics, foreign affairs or science vs a journalist trying to talk about something he knows little about. I also feel like I get a better grasp of some truly important issues or potentially important issues vs having whatever is the hot topic at the moment(OMG Tea Party, are they a fad or here to stay!).

Anyone else have any favorite sources? A podcast, magazine or private publication maybe?

Probably, I'm not a paying member, just a lurker. :D

But it sounds familiar, probably in the Ask/Tell subforum.

@SpazX: LOL, they post articles on many topics. Lew Rockwell is the head of the Mises Institute if anyone is familiar with the Austrian school of economics.
