South FL/Georgia - PSP for $198.88 at Brandsmart USA.
Until the 18th.

I'm honestly quite tempted. With Virtua Tennis out, the PSP has about 4 or 5 good games now.
out of curiousity, could you name the other 4

anyways what is a brandsmart? I have yet to see one and I have lived in Georgia for 4 years now.

brandsmart is just a really busy electronics store that has good deals on refrigerators.

I saw this deal on their redent TV commercial. Good deal IMO, I already have one though.

Five? I can count one, myself- Lumines. Care to remind me of the other four?

And I'm not being sarcastic or anything, I'm serious.

brandsmarts are awesome!!!!

and u psp haters got to stop bein gay.. theres some pretty good quality games for psp..

nba live
ssx
madden (eww)
death jr
midnight club 3
etc

Get a PSP... I reccomend it partially due to its lifespan is alot longer than home consoles. There's much to look forward to, just wait a little and more stuff will show up. Lumines is well worth buying even if it's the only game you play on it (ATM I am doing exactly that...).

Lumines
Ridge Racer
Wipeout Pure
Mercury

That's all I got, just because I only own the last three. All three are excellent. Add Lumines, and HSG:OT is supposed to be really good too.

But anyways, Brandsmart is sure a scary place. Parking lot full at 10 min to close.

Chrono Trigger, Punch out, Zelda, Lumines, Hot Shots ;)

The fall lineup looks pretty good for the PSP so far, Socom fire team, GTA:LCS, Legend of Heros, X-men legends 2(with exclusive characters), PopoloCrois, Infected, Burnout legends

and the maybes, The Con, Stacked, any sports game
They have large stores, with what I hear a horrible return policy.

Im waiting for xbox360, so im holding out on psp.
The return policy is horrible. As with the psp, there is NO return policy. It can't be returned once purchased. I purchased a psp from the them. There was a few dead pixels and they let me swaped it out once. My 2nd psp was just as bad (2 dead pixels and 1 piece of dust under the screen). They refuse to refund my money or let me swap it out for another one. They told me that there was nothing wrong with the psp (they were blind & couldn't see the 2 dead pixels and dust that I pointed out. made me look like an idiot). They claim that the psp is nonrefunable (not even in store credit) and that I should send it to sony for repair. From what I have read online, there are some units that are worse off when sent to Sony for repair.

Brandsmart sucks!!
I'm stuck with a psp that I no longer want (I have ZERO tolerance for dead pixels). Guess it is time for me ebay my psp + 2 games and get a nintendo ds instead.

The psp is cool and all that BUT sony sucks if there are so many psp out there with dead pixels. They're charging $250 for a psp. Can't they use some higher quality parts instead of buying it from the defective bins??!!

Not every PSP has dead pixels (like mine). It's an LCD. You're going to have dead/stuck pixels no matter what, it's just luck of the draw.

I must be really unlucky then. I went thru 5 psps (2 from target, 2 from brandsmart, and 1 from wal-mart). All of them have at least one dead pixel.

:whistle2:(

Well, I thought I had four when I got it. It turns out they were just stuck, and normal gameplay fixed them. Every once in a while I'll think I have another one, but it just turns out to be a particle on the screen.

Perhaps I just got really lucky? Or the Target guy (who picked one at random from out of the case) has really good luck.

If your pixels are white, red, blue or green, they are not dead, they are stuck. There is a program out there (not sure where u can get it) that lets you highlight a pixel, then it continously flashes that single pixel, in an effort to get it unstuck. It seems to work for red stuck pixels, but not for the whtie ones...
