Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension Price drop

Is this game going to drop down FASTER than "Spider-Man Web of Shadows"?

^ I remember just waiting a little over 2-3 months after the release and was able to get it for $29.99 at Target.

EDIT:
I'm just going to post here what I posted on the 2nd page.

Guys, games made by Activision always gets a price drop... FAST!

Aside from Call of Duty which doesn't drop fast at all, or Guitar Hero, which does drop but not as fast, just wait at least 2-3 months for any other game, and they will go from $59.99 to at least $29.99 in no time.

It's happened with:

- Spider-Man Web of Shadows
- Wolfenstein
- Prototype
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
- Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

I never paid more than $29.99 for all those games after a good 2 or 3 months of waiting.

Why don't they just stop with the "We swear, THIS is the Spider-man game we meant to make instead of the last one." and quit making Spider-man games. Clearly they aren't selling anymore because we're done hearing their BS.

They aren't selling because there hasn't been a good spider-man movie.

They aren't reviewing well because Spiderman 2 had the best (and most difficult to master) web-slinging. Where just swinging around was a game in and of itself.

Combine these two and you get a hit. Nail the web-slinging and at least *I'll* buy it.

I think this game was marketed poorly. I mean, I found it strange that Shipwreck didn't get a review copy until after it's release date. Not sure if I'll enjoy this game, because I hated some of the more recent Spider-Man games.
All I want is a Mirror's Edge-esque first person open world spidey. That's it. Someone please give it to me.
Wow. My first reaction to this was "No. This would never work."

And then I thought about the thrill of simply jumping in Mirror's edge, combined with leaping off the building entirely and web slinging.

This game would make 90% of the gaming audience motion sick. But the other 10% would probably have one of the most immersive, thrilling games ever made. :applause:

Oh my god. Please.

If it can't happen, can we have some talented hackers do it to this game/WoS?

There were actually 3 good Spiderman movies :) I enjoyed all three of them. The third was the weakest of the three, but I still enjoyed it.

I fucking love Mirror's Edge. I hate that it got average reviews and crap sells. That game was amazing, but short.

Here's my offer: make a Spider-Man game with Bobby Kotick as the final boss, and I'll buy it. Call him Kingprick. Or fuckstick. Just let me virtually beat the shit out of him.

i played the best buy demo and the game played much better than i thought it would. i would definitely get it but obviously not at $60 and not even $50. but if it drops to $30 i might bite
have my eyes on this game but waiting for the 20 dollar price point

Hey now, I loved WoS. Regardless, this will be $20 or less on BF.
Yeah, I reckon before the end of the year it will have been $20 somewhere.
So I bought this when it came out, will Gamestop refund the price difference if I go back with my receipt?
That was less than a month ago, wasn't it? If they don't, just shell out the money for a new copy at $50 and return it with the $60's receipt.

Yes it was just last week. Good thing I kept my receipt. Seem like game prices be dropping pretty quick nowadays. Thanks

I'm waiting for this to drop further or wait till Gamefly ships it to me. I was really excite for it and I just beat Web Of Shadows. Honestly, WoS wasn't THAT bad at all, but I did feel Act 3 dragged on a bit and some of the missions(namely the escort ones) were just boring. From the reviews, I had assumed it was going to be much worse but I didn't have many complaints. The combat was fun, reminded me of the old beat em ups, and the swinging worked just fine.

I paid full price, and while it's a good game. Not nearly worth it. There is little to no replay value, and the controls are quite wonky, and the game is almost as glitchy as The Force Unleashed. That's not to say it isn't any fun; it is. I'd say $30 would be good for the game, but any more then that, I couldn't recommend it at (fantastic for a rental, for the Deadpool level alone).

I had it from Blockbuster, didn't get that far (just into the first Noir section), but I thought it was pretty solid, though the web slinging mechanics gave me some fits early. I'm surprised to hear someone beat it so quickly, because there's so much to find (Spider Emblems = Crackdown Orbs) but I guess it could be blown through. Might grab it with my piles of GS credit.
Definitely worth a rental. It only took me 5.5 hours to beat.
really.... crap I was really looking forward to this

Dude is a rock-star then, because I am 5.5 hours through and on the 6th stage or so. Stages are taking me under an hour to beat on Normal, and that's with collecting a little bit, and figuring out the boss trick.

I think it's a solid title, it has minor collision and world map problems sometimes, similar to Fallout, but it's well executed.

They should of called it Spiderman: Kitchen Sink, because this title borrows from every game out in the last 3 years. I even feel its like Shadow of the Col. the way each level is a boss fight, who you usually fight throughout level.

I agree, he must have been playing on easy.

Same here, a 5.5 hour run to finish this game is quite fast. I am 3 hours in and less than 1/3 of the game. Will take me about 10-12 hours to complete most likely. It might "feel" like each level is 30 minutes, but they are quite well done and not short at all (1st Noir level took me about 50 minutes minimum). Well done game worth a buy if you are a Spider-man fan (Just FYI: I rented this from Gamefly).

You'll also need a small bucket to catch all the vomit from when you get motion sickness.

This game will be $20 before the end of October, just wait a couple of weeks. Hell, maybe before the end of September.

Agreed. Unless it took him 5hrs to defeat Kraven and he thought that was the end lol

Looks like one of the more promising Spider-Man games but I'm definitely going to wait till it hits its lowest price point before snatching.
