ok, so I was bored and flipped over to FX channel, which is playing The Animal........ commerical hits promoting Spiderman 2 coming to FX on Jan 2, featuring an EXCLUSIVE Sam Raimi cut of Spiderman 2 with MORE SCENES!!! so basically all this time we have been waiting for a DVD release of Spiderman 2.5 and FX is getting it now?!?!?! WTF!??!?!!?!?

From what Saimi has said however the "extended" cut is only 5 minutes longer. The film from what he said is fine enough as is. Then again I must be the only person on Earth who thinks that (quite honestly) both "Spiderman" films have been teh sux.

this is gotta be bullshit to be an extra 5 minutes longer..... According to the commerical, they said it would be a "3 hr" event. how long was spiderman 2? 2 1/2hrs?

If anything it could also be their "DVD On TV" crap which is where they'll fill in time by showing behind the scenes stuff. Plus remember there are also tons and tons of ads they need to show us as well.

Which is the main reason why I can't stand either "Spiderman" film. Its nothing against him personally as I enjoyed him in "Seabiscuit" but he just doesn't fit the superhero mold to me. Even Christian "I Did A Shitty Ass Job As Anakin Skywalker" Hayden could do a better job as Peter Parker than him.
