An ambulance who was responding to a call, but did not have their lights on, hit a motorcycle in front of work and killed the rider.
 
I think that the illegal fireworks have stopped for the night. Time to take my dog back upstairs so I can sleep.

Watched Batman for the first time tonight. Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson worked much better in their roles than I was expecting. Definitely worth the two hours, especially since I watched the DVD and not the crappy AMC version.

Yea I know it will for me too. Already up to 199.2. Had a big room I was missing.

I printed out maps from gamefaqs and am coloring in the ones I have already been to so that I can shorten the amount of time needed to find what I am missing. Working pretty well so far.
 
So I played some more DQ Rocket Slime. I'd like to finish the stage but I'm tired as hell and just don't want to. I'm also missing an enemy in the Callmigh Bluff. Shit.

I'm going to order Taiko Drum DS once I get money in my Paypal from a sale on CAG in a few days.

Does anyone know if YesAsia takes Paypal? I haven't ordered from them for a year or two and don't remember- and Taiko is cheaper at YesAsia than Playasia.

ahh, turned out to be an awesome night...

I get home around 7:00 from work, and am all ready to just stay home tonight and read Brave New World. Around 8-ish, I get a call from my friend, telling me there's an ultimate frisbee game going on. I go to the park, only to find there's no game and my friend's other friends are there. These guys are really assholes, and basically what you would all call little emo fags. Furthermore, their entire group backstabs and gossips about one another more than a bunch of middle school girls. I figured I'd stay for a little while, then weasel my way out.
Apparently, before I came, one really pathetic kid, Alex, was talking about me. From what I could gather, the conversation went something like this:
"Why is Steve coming? He's such a nerd."
-One minute later-
"This is so boring, I wish I just stayed home"
(Someone else) "What would you have done?"
"I don't know, slept or played warcraft..."

Although it pains me to be brought down by such a scuzzy little fuck, I didn't even have to do anything to get back at him. Later on, the group went downtown, and I bump into a girl from work. She's hot as fuck: blonde, at least c's, and yelling out to me as soon as she sees me. While the rest of the group is walking, I've got a girl who all of them could only dream of all over me. Shut Alex up in minutes.


Also, on the way home I didn't get any red lights and I saw two hot girls make out in a seven-eleven parking lot. Those are definately signs saying "it was a good day"
 
I just want to go get that interview over with.

"listen sir/madam I don't give a shit. I want to slop food for a living, ok?. Alright do you have this position available yes or no? thank you, or fuck you and good day."

I think thats all I'm going to say in my interview.

what about folding up the box and putting it in an envelope? depending on what quality the person is expecting, that could work well...
 
Wal Mart used to carry a box that was small enough so that the game sat at an angle in the box (nothing gets damaged and it is perfect for just one GBA game with box.). I don't know if they still do since I have not traded here in forever.

I'm 10 minutes or so from downtown, and the Single A ballpark had a firework show after the game. For 30 minutes it sounded like Baghdad in my neighborhood.

Back when my dog was alive we had to get Tranquilizers from the vet for the 4th of July he would freak out otherwise. I've heard stories about smaller dogs dying from heart attacks on the 4th.

Yea, but why the fuck did the ambulance not have its lights on? From what I heard about the wreck was the ambulance flicked its lights on to go through the stop light then turned them off, tried to go around a car and smacked the motorcycle head on.

the thing is, you have to get friends to join it too. i'd rather just use facebook, where at least i have half of my friends, rather than even bother trying to start getting my acquaintances on a new program
