Split/Second for Windows (PC) $10 @Best Buy

Game was pretty decent looking when I watched a friend play it. Game came out in the spring of this year, almost at the exact same time as "Blur", and the games competed with each other so much, both kinda fell off the map quickly.

Solid reviews for both titles. S/S for PC went down to $20 about a month ago at BB. Haven't seen it this low before. Definitely worth $10. I'll be picking up a copy while I'm out tomorrow.

Anyone know what kind of DRM it uses? I actually really liked the game and wouldn't mind having it for the PC when I rebuild my system in the next 6-12 months and could actually run it well.

(Edit: nevermind, discovered it uses SecuRom with online activation)

Plays well on PC, but don't expect any of the updates/dlc that came for the Xbox 360 version.

Graphically, it walks ALL OVER the 360 version.

Unlike most PC ports, this is not true. The image quality can be improved, but there are no additional details added AND the game is capped at 30 fps. That cap also introduces minor stuttering into the framerate on many PCs (a refresh rate issue). It's not a good port.
