Spring break in New Mexico

The main University here in New Mexico, UNM is on Spring break this week and a few days ago it was 75 degrees plus outside. Yesterday the biggest snow I've ever seen in my 18 year life here decided to hit, here are some pics.



New Mexico sure has some bizarre ass weather. Just a few days ago the tree in my front yard bloomed, it's the tree completely covered by snow past the gate in picture 3. Crazy times. Not to mention people here already drive horribly, throw snow in the mix and it may take you an hour to get a few miles.

I hear ya, people here can't drive to save thier lives. Today is the greatest day ever. No school for teachers. Don't have to see those brats at all.

How Much snow accumulated after all was said and done?

3 to 9 inches in ABQ which is insane. I'm in my first year at community college and I haven't had a snow day since seventh grade which tells you how wild this is.

Damn that is crazy, I had like 5 or 6 snowdays in just January alone!

Well a snow day here in New Mexico is a VERY rare occurence. Hell, snow here is really rare.
