Spun is one of the best used game sites I have used. All of my orders have come complete with manual, and box art...and its often times cheaper than Gamestop. Go at it! Great time to burn up that site credit many of you have! :) This deal should also work on pre-ordering games, like last time similar deals like this happened.

You could get some great deals, like ordering the new batman LE with a couple filler items to get that 150 limit. Could essentially get the 100 dollar LE for basically 70!

Or pre order rock band beatles special edition... cheapest pre order avail! (around 168!)
I highly recommend Spun, as their service was fantastic when I first used them a month ago.
Agreed, I have placed five orders w/them over the past two months and have nothing but good things to say about them. I have ordered new games, "used" CDs (one of which was actually new) and both new & used Blu-rays, all without issue. My one word of warning is that they can be tough on grading trades, but as someone who has purchased used items from them, I appreciate that.

Spun has excellent customer service as well. I some issues with an order and they fixed it quickly with great communication.

I was looking at a couple of used games but then i stumbled on their used game policy

"All previously owned titles purchased from Spun come in brand new jewel cases, shrinkwrapped, and are guaranteed for quality. "

I would rather buy used games from another source where they would come in their original cases not a jewel case.

Can someone who have ordered used games from them actually confirm if they infact come in a jewel case or in their ORIGINAL casings.

That would be the deal breaker to me.

Oh yeah having to spend over $150 is kinda harsh too.

The $150 minimum is the deal-killer for me. I suppose if you wanted the Beatles bundle and didn't already order it via an amazon 50% off coupon/trade-in, but otherwise....

I ordered some used PS2 games from them, and it was not in the original (or even a PS2 case at all) case.. it did however include a manual and original artwork, and was re-wrapped.

Thanks for the info.

Games can be scratched up so long as they play, missing manuals (I never ever opened a game manual in any game i have/played so its useless to me), but the game MUST be in is original or similar game box. Ie xbox 360 games needs to be in a xbox 360 case etc etc.

In my opinion nothing devalues a used game more than it missing its game case.

So this deal is a no go for me. I couldn't scrabble up more than $30 worth of used games I wanted anyways.

No problem, I understand. But just so I was clear for anyone else, they weren't in just like a clear audio CD jewelcase, it was a black DVD case; but I definitely know what you mean

I wish they wouldn't put stuff in generic cases. Getting an XBox game in a generic black case is annoying. I would still order from them though.

With all the money you save you can invest in a few empty cases on eBay.

A game is a game. A case is a case. The game is what plays in your hardware for your enjoyment. The case is what protects said game and sits there like an idiot laughing at guywhotrades for the many games he's rejected on a good deal because of a CASE.

Yeah, but I guess you could preorder 3 games? Still a lot of up front $.

If you collect games, you probably don't like looking at generic cases on your shelf. If you don't collect, but just play games, then not having original case, artwork and manual reduces the future trade/sale value. To my mind, unless a game is ridiculously hard to find, accepting it without original case, manual and artwork is usually a mistake. The exception is if you are buying it with the sole purpose of immediately trading it into Gamestop for some promotion, and where none of this matters.

I've bought replacement 360 cases on eBay.

Best Buy pre-orders also usually come with a free 360 green case.

I was thinking about placing a large order but shipping is so expensive at $2 and then 99 cents for each item, when you order a ton of cheap stuff shipping kinda kills it.

No... there is a very specific reason why i want games with the system case instead of a generic black or jewel case.... but since you have no idea of my actual intentions then your the idiot. And I'm the one laughing while I meet my objectives with my requirements. But good try little boy.. have a nice day :booty:

If your games miss one thing, either the inserts, the case or the manual, it's automatically devalued, orig case or not. Collections must be COMPLETE, no ifs or buts.

i also don't like how they sell their used dvd in generic black case as well, if they are the same ones for video games, count me out
