Spyware from CAG?

Wrong.
It's not likely from CAG. I search the forums all the time and never have gotten any spyware from it. Probably from another site that's been visited lately. Check your history and see if there's any porn sites or wrestling sites (some reason, wrestling sites like to have spyware attached to them.

Don't take it personally, but TF is that you're using the wrong browser. The U.S. Government is practically warning people not to use internet explorer. I'm not even asking which browser you use or which operating system you've got, because it's that obvious.

It's futile to argue with the anti-Microsofties, but if you know what you're doing, IE is no less inherently harmful than any other browser. I've never had spyware or a virus that was the fault of me using IE. Ever.

Just because you haven't had a problem so far (that you know about, anyway) doesn't mean you'll never have a problem.
There were 4 vulnarabilities discovered just a few days ago. Either you never happen to use untrusted sites, or you're lucky. But don't tell me your brainpower saves you from microsoft bugs.

Never had any trouble with IE. But then again, I have my defenses fortified like fort Knox, but if someone wanted to get in then they probably could if they tried reeeeaaally hard.

The same can be said for other internet browsers. they all have the falws and vulnerabilites. Nothing is fool proof. They were all made by humans so they all could have mistakes in them. And for that matter Nothing is perfect, if a hacker who is truly good wants to get itno to your systme or spyware, etc, then they will.

Microsoft software is buggy because it's trying to do things it shouldn't.
Microsoft takes weeks or months to fix problems, rather than hours or days at most for open source browsers.
Try to break into the system of somebody running *BSD and using the supplied browsers. I assure you you won't get very far. But microsoft lowered your expectations so much you think no software is safe. What a terrible state of affairs.

I haven't used IE for the past 8 months because it stopped working, along with OE, Office, and other various MS products. No viruses, no spyware, nada.
But I have a major problem using this site, and this site only. For some reason, half the time it gives me an error stating that www.cheapassgamer.com cannot be found. It even happens when I try to view posts while on the site. Anyone else get these?
I use Mozilla Firefox and have gotten the same results with Firebird.

Good thing this site doesn't use iFrames...or any of the other numerous other features the internet has to offer that other browsers aren't compatible with. I dunno...I prefer to see sites the way they were meant to be seen and all the content they offer...but we all have different preferences for what we want from the net...content or "handy" little tab things...

If anyone cares to know who the guess posts then they are mine, but for some reason CAG didn't let me sign in. I would sign in and then repeatedly after that it would say that I have to sign in again. Anyone know what this is why the site was doing that to me?

I don't know why it happens but it has happened to me but different board. My buds have a board for their band and it's the same setup. I tried for hella ever trying to log in but to no avail. I myself wonder why....
