Since you're big into anime I got a question...Is it normal for BluRay collections to be super expensive?  The Gurren Lagann collection is a whopping $550 right now.

As DNukem noted blus in Japan are incredibly expensive, which is why people who live in Japan like dv8 tend to only buy anime blu releases from the US.

Also another note to remember is that anything released by Aniplex=Auto Expensive.
