St. Catharines area?

CAGiversary!
Any Cags around here?

I've found one great store in St. Catharines called Entertainment Underground that has used games for just about every system.

There are 3 EBs in town, none of them are that great.

Anything else in the area that I should know about?

I lived around that area up until last May, but I can't recall off the top of my head if there are any other good places around. If I think of something, I'll definitely let you know.

I grew up in that area, and the last time I was there I went to the St. Catherines flea market and they had a few dealers that weren't too bad, and I believe one of them had a store in Welland (granted this was a few years ago).

Maybe you and I are the only ones left haha

After all the Game Day Deals at EB, I think I'm becoming known around 2 of the 3 EBs in the area.

I'm back after 4 years away for school, and the one thing game-deal related about this area that sucks is that our Rogers never have good used games in their "2 for" sales.

If there's a deal around town you can't get to, just let me know and I may be able to help out.

Thanks.

Are you going to Brock in the fall?

Sounds like you're doing the same thing I'm doing.

I haven't really bought much yet, as I've paid for school and my apt., and I need a job before I can start justifying buying games.

There's also a place downtown, which I can't remember the name of, that's a clothing store up top, and downstairs sells games and DVDs.

Do you know which place I mean?

I actually just finished school last year and I'm working full time now.

I'm not sure of the store you're talking about...I know of like a pawn shop or something, but I haven't been there in a long time.

Entertainment Overload is the best place in St. Cath. Lots of older-gen games, but they know what they are worth. Final Fantasy III complete was 80 bucks or so I think. There's a lot others too.

There is That's Entertainment- they have the occassional hard to come by game, but they are generally overpriced IMO. I did pick up Silent Hill 4 there a few months back for 7.99 though..

You could try NEX on lakeshore, it's not bad. They usually have a buy 2 get 1 free sale. Other than that I find this area pretty dry.
