Stand by for Titanfall!

So good!  I cant wait to play the finished product.  Im glad we can invite friends now though!  This game is gonna be in play for a long time.

 
That was pretty cool to watch. There's 3 game modes in the Beta; Attrition (Team Deathmatch), Hardpoint (Capture & Hold Objectives), and Last Titan Standing (1 Life, Everyone Starts With Titans). The unlocked weaponary, skills, burn cards and abilities seen in the IGN stream looked like a lot of fun rewards. Fun, it's the name of this game. 

My favorite moment of the stream, was watching a nuclear ability of the dying Mech take all the surrounding enemies out when it blew up.

6 on 6 with bots may seem like not a lot but there's so much happening on screen, when I was watching I had to remind myself to blink and Greg, Ryan and Alfonso (CoD player) all mentioned that too.

The biggest thing is the number of maps that ship with the game and I have to agree with Ryan saying 8 is gotta be the minimum but a lot of information is still being rolled out for Titanfall.

 
It sucks people got early release for this game even the non popular steamers got alot of viewers and followers last night on twitch. You can get really popular right now during this beta since it is ok to stream unlike elder scrolls online. I hope to get one saying that I would pay to get a key since I know I would have a good amount of viewers as well. Looks like a good game, is getting really popular I wouldn't be surprised if they make this competitive as long as the gamers ask for it.

I've been checking all day.  Sad thing is I get a notification on my phone when I get them.  Seems like most of the ones going out are for the X1.  Not sure if that is because more have signed up for it with a X1 or if they are holding back on some of the PC codes. I have seen on YouTube and Twitch some playing on the PC so I know they have been sent out.  

 
got my expertzone work thing re verified in like 3 hours woot wot so got the early code downloading now. Can't wait to see all the other stuff that was not in the alpha version iplayed.

 
So some stupid radio station is giving codes on twitter if you answer questions and I had the first right answer and they give some dude 20 seconds after me the code. And their excuse is that's what twitter showed me first. fucking bullshit.
 
for me i get alot of screen tearing and servers are laggy at times. i will say im not a fan at how the screen gets really pixelated when titan is about to blow up kind of distracting.

 
going on back of your teammates titan is a wild ride lol i was on and he got into battle not sure how i survived but i was able to jump on the other guys titan and kill it . :bouncy:

yeah see that's one thing i will love about this game and cod. Yeah cod after while is just done but they do give you like tons of maps at launch and in dlc. Seems like we will get tons of maps for this game.

Watched the Giant Bomb stream yesterday, they did done interesting stuff (side by side PC and X1, seeing what the PC version looks like with all the settings turned down, etc). Watched a few other streams later that night. I was cautiously optimistic about the game before, but after all this video I'm now pretty excited actually.

Just hope the 16 maps thing is legit, and not some weird phony math where it's like actually 5 maps with a bunch of tiny alterations for different game modes or something. I don't even need 16 maps to be happy, I'd just rather have 8-10 maps than have it turn out they are fucking with us to build up anticipation.

Odd I was sent a code for the Xbox One when I put in for the PC. I got on twitter and Facebook to see if I could get it fixed. Maybe 10 minutes later I was sent the PC code. After that a response on Facebook on correcting the issue. I'm guessing I was sent the Xbox One code by mistake.

I've got someone else asking for it now. They sent a message not long after I posted about having it. I would rather hold off till later on in the day. Just in case they are still sending them out. Also I'm stuck at work and can't play till I get home. So if i can't play it no one gets the code till I can. Yep I'm being a jerk but if you're wanting it that's the cost. I could put it on eBay and sell it. Saw one going for 50. I would rather help someone out that put in to get the code and didn't get it than give to someone that didn't bother trying when it took little effort to do so or sell it.
 
Have they said how long they will send out the codes? I would think if I got one most if not all that tried to get one should.
 
Woke up to a PC Titanfall code in my Inbox. So far, seems like fun. I mean, its not revolutionary, but the agile movement combined with the Titan mechs breathes some life into the game. I could see myself having fun with this.

Wasn't it midnight the 17th?

During alpha I got mine sat afternoon.
