Personally waiting for star ocean second evolution to come down in price. Glad I waited. Who knows, it might drop to $9.99.

Last time I check First departure, it was around $14 before. Nonetheless still ok deal imo.

Ordered both together with the TR trilogy lightning deal.

Not to be mean but why would anyone pay more for your used copies, not to mention the extra 4 bucks for shipping, when they can get them new from amazon for less and free shipping?

Anyway I bought both a while back when amazon had them for $12 each; definitely think second evolution is by far the better of the two. A solid JRPG, plus they kept the nice SCANDAL intro song.

Well when you come to a forum that is based around saving money and getting games at the cheapest possible post and try to sell your copies for way more then a current deal yeah..

I thought this was getting rare, so I bought a copy last week for $20. I'm glad I didn't open it. I'm in for one at $11.27, and I'll return my other copy. Thanks OP and skiizim.
 
This is a TRU cheapy game I think there's a b1g1 50% off $19.99 or less now that may get a better deal. And BB has it on clearance too plus b2g1 free that is if there's still some left at either store I've seen 4-6 copies in my travels over the last 2-3 weeks.

There was a thread about Sony Style stores having a clearance sale, ymmv on what you will find and a bigger ymmv of a Sony Style store in your area. The closest one to me is 40 miles away.

Got my "new" 11.27 copy from "Gameroom Deals" today.

It was basically in a loose fitting plastic bag with a sticker that said New on it. Game was not sealed inside the bag. Looked like the manual had been handled before, but umd looked new.

Same here. Just opened the envelope before checking this thread - this game does not look "brand new" or "factory sealed" to me - more like "GameStop new" :bomb:

Did you receive the French/English version of Star Ocean: Second Evolution? I have two instruction booklets in mine, one in French, the other in English. Also, all of the text on the rear of the case is in both languages. The UMD does have a few tiny scratches on it as well... I think I'm going to return it, this seems a bit ridiculous to me.
