Star Trek: Enterprise Seasons 1,2, & 3 $44.99 at Best Buy

Bobweiser

CAGiversary!
As the title says Star Trek: Enterprise Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are on sale for $44.99 each. We got notice that this was not supposed to happen as they are normally $106.99 (not the $56.99 listed) and they COST Best Buy $80.00. They will honor it where they have to so my advice is to get there soon if you need them.

I wish it had been all seasons, but three isn't bad for now.

Dang, the ad is corrected online too now. I don't think they will honor it anymore. That sucks.
still 45 per season is WAY too much money
Agreed. A $20 price point on ALL TV on DVD season sets would sell through the roof. I'd easily spend $100 over a few months to own some of my favorite shows but the current pricing is just too high...

I think the pricing is just right. A feature length movie often retails for $19.99 when it first comes out. A season of a particular show can be 20 hours or more of entertainment. $40-$50 is a fair price point IMO. $100 is too much for a show that is still airing re-runs in syndication though.

You are probably right but I don't think most people watch TV shows as often as movies. I'm watching Season 1 of 24 right now and although it's great I can already tell you I'll never watch it again. I guess I think there is more value in a movie. I'm probably wrong though because people are buying TV on DVD like crazy... I just think they would sell more than twice as much if they cut all the prices in half...

I think you are right in that there is more value in a movie. Most movies run between 100-120 minutes and it SO much easier to to re-watch a movie than try to watch an entire TV series more than once. Some TV series aren't as bad for that because they don't have sweeping story arcs (TNG, Xena, Hercules, older comedies). For something like 24 though, I would imagine it would be harder to just pick a random episode for viewing.

Tv shows are great value compared to Anime....Anime is such a GIP. They can't even package half of it in non shoddy DVD boxes that can hold a cd firmly :x

personally i will not pay more then 15 -20 bucks per box set... hell there was some box sets that was around that i will probally never watch

picked up ren and stimpy season 3 (I think) for 15.99 and never watched it and probally never will

hmm i watched part of an episode of Enterprise and it seemed really lame. like the chick was there as eye candy like the really old star treks. personally, i know many disagree, but i liked voyager a lot. DS 9 was pretty cool, but the action episodes were few and far between, at least for Star Trek. still TNG dominates.
what is the good season of enterprise? i never watched the show ever but might start if i can get them cheap.
The fourth season. Aside from the average Alien Nazi episodes, the boring inventor of the transporter episode, and a series finale that is easily the worst finale I've every seen, it was a great season, and the show had tons of potential.

The space battles and action sequences in later seasons of DS9 (dominion war) were some of the best in franchise, movies or shows.
