This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

And even at 66% off it's still way too much for fundle bodder.

But I'll be all over that shiz first bundle it's in.

Newegg has

MSI Radeon R7 250 DirectX 12 R7 250 2GD3 OC 2GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

For $45 ($60 and $15 rebate).

Not bad for a low end, current gen GFX card.

Also, Brovey:

Would the bros be interested in bro nights for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and Star Wars Battlefront?  I got emails indicating you can play the first for 10 hours free and second for 4 hours free on Origin so you would just have to use your bandwidth for it.

Interesting b/c of the low price after rebate.

Looked at Tom's for some benchmarks on this:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r7-250x-graphics-card-review,3747-3.html

According to them...

Looks like the 2GB R7 250 non-X card's are benchmarked for console-framerate type of performance on some games - i.e. 25-35 frames at 1080p on BF4 at Medium; Metro LL at Low; BS Infinite at High; AC4 at Low.

It's in the 40-48 frame ballpark with GRID 2 at High.

Now...I wonder how much more of a framerate boost some gamers could squeeze out of this, dropping down to say 720p or 900p, if they don't mind dropping to those resolutions.

The PvZ2 trial is supposed to only be available until the 10th, so it would have to happen within the next week.

Dont know if anyone mentioned this...but walmarts are clearancing their Steelseries Sensei Mouse (Diablo 3 and CODBO2 versions).  YMMV.

$17.00

I picked 1 each of these at different times from a store that already clearanced them in the past couple years. Bought them as cheap backups in case my g5 ever dies. They are still in the package.

Edit: This did remind me that I need a new mouse pad though. Thanks.

Did you happen to get the brickseek numbers for those? Don't need one, but curious to see what they are pierced around here.

I don't think you wanna know what Walmart employees have pierced. It would probably make you sick.

Since I still have them in box I'll google the upc for you.

Edit:
Black Op 2: 33305158
Diablo 3: 17480513

Edit 2:
While no stores in my area show stock, every zip code I plugged in for the Diablo one shows $17, so it looks to be company wide.

Unsurprisingly there are none in my Build-That-Wall region Walmart. I would've gone to buy one ASAP if they had.

It would've gone great with that SECOND SEALED COPY OF DIABLO III I found today.

Why you hurt me like that
Not sure if you got a D3 base-game Regular or CE Edition.

Hence why I asked the edition you bought came w/ the OST or not. :p

Really though I plan to sell it off on eBay and order the expansion pack with the money I make from it. Unless someone here has a retail box they'd like to trade for it...
D3: ROS Regular Edition PC retail-box is $11 on GameStop right now:

Mouse talk.

I had the Diablo 3 Sensei and I hated it. Nothing about it felt right, but the worst part was that bloody scroll wheel. Seriously. Awful.

Try before you buy. It looks pretty but it's horrible to use.

Important news bulletin of the day:

The IT manager at Flow's work has turned off the firewallfilterthing. This is excellent news and calls for:

I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

:whee:

@Flow: I'm still trying to forget that man. Don't make me bust out the Maggie Thatcher gifs.

@Furry: They gotta keep up with Paradox.

Speaking bro, id like to thank fox last night for making sure neither syntax error or myself had to be in last place at lead and gold. it fits you well and I nominate you to make it a permanent change.
Your mom was distracting me. She kept trying to steal my stick, blow up my keg, and get my gold. I'll make sure to put her in her spanksy cage next time we play.
