This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

maybe the rest of the DLC packs will be on the house too.

 
I own the base games in the Mass Effect trilogy on Origin and would love the DLC. Is there any way to get it cheap? My brief research would indicate NO! But I'm no scientist.

Pretty much no unless you somehow catch a glitch or a once every thousand year sale on Bioware points.

 
It's not much but it might be worth noting what DLC you get with the trilogy varies between platforms so if you get the PS3 version you'll get some that you won't with the PC version etc. None of them are complete though. They are all missing some DLC, which of course you can only get through the now antiquated Bioware points.

 
I mostly just want the Shadow Broker and Overlord DLC from ME2. I don't remember really caring much for any of the other stuff when I played on consoles. Incidentally, I already started playing the original ME and man oh man, if there's a game from last gen that could use a major overhaul, that'd be the one. fuck you, Mako!

At the risk of interrupting the fap session, last night the bros played Zombie Army Trilogy and wouldn't you know that GIlby managed to Gilby downloading and installing the game and had to miss out.  

Tonight we play Just Cause 2 MP.  I know I mentioned it being fun before so posting here in case anyone is interesting.  Come join us as we goof around for an hour and then goof around some more with planes and cars and stuff.

What we learned about last night NZA session is... If there are some members dying in your party, you must save the pimp and let spoder die.

I'll check if I have a JC2 backup to join you tonight.
 
The one time I tried JC2 MP, it was a pretty bad experience with all the people camping spawn points to spam them with grenades or other "Let's ruin the fun" activities.  But that was the day the MP patch went "live" so I imagine by now it must be a lot calmer.

I played Nazi Zombies with Team Malkan and the Team Fox and was equally terrible on each.  Lord knows I've played enough Sniper Elite but I guess there's a difference between planning your shot to hit a dude a half mile away and using the same rifle to try and frantically kill thirty zombies bum-rushing you.  Fox wouldn't know because he never used his gun and just karate-kicked them all back into death.

The last time we played, we did it with CAGs and not randoms so that shouldn't be an issue

The foot was the most overpowered weapon in NZA other than the Preacher Bah was using to cheat.

Also, JC2 last time was just the bros and a ton of fun. Don't recall if we just joined an empty server or hosted a private match, but I don't recall any randoms.

 
Yeah, I think last time you guys did JC2 (I missed it) you mentioned that it was good times.  The time I did it, the whole MP thing was brand new and on a public server so there was a million dudes running around.  Most of them were cool and some were doing stuff like offering helicopter rides to the city and stuff but you also had some donglords sitting in the military vehicles and spamming the spawn points with explosives and stuff so everyone coming in was insta-killed.

Not implying that it'd be the case this time around and I'm planning on being there.

In NZA, I started using the 99 which was an acquired taste.  I think it's the highest velocity (damage) rifle but with a small 5-round magazine.  But it seemed to put the zombies down easier than some of the other rifles.

 
Says it's a promo for pre-ordering so doubt it'll get canceled.  And it's probably useless without a Samsung smart TV (and hub, etc) so fewer people ordering them just because.

No no, the DRM free copy is okay. I mean it plays fine for what it is. DotEmu didn't really do much to the emulation engine.

Did SNK Pee ever give us Steam keys for those games? Edit: nope, typical.
