This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

For me, first Destiny 2 for $15 on Newegg - then HBM'd.

I do wonder about Just Cause 3 XL getting HBM'd, since I just bought that yesterday.

I also bought Dishonored: Death of the Outsider from GMG and The Evil Within 2 from NewEgg - so, knowing the roll I'm on, there's probably more Bundle Sacrifices.

Part of the complaint, as I've heard it, is that this new found virtue doesn't affect lovingly rendered tits & ass in games like Witcher or Wolfenstein: TNO or Metro: Last Light but it's just the cartoon boobies getting the witch hunt treatment. I'm not big into anime games and VNs but that does sound like a lame double standard.

Eh, I can understand differentiating between a long story-driven game with some tits in it vs a quickly slapped-together cash grab that only sells because it has tits in it. Personally, I won't miss Steam purging that garbage. Send it back to Desura.

I'm sure this would also affect stuff like House Party too, not just exclusively anime tits.

Are you referring to the steam controller? I have seen it on sale for $30 a few times. I got mine off of ebay for $20 about a year or two ago.

Does anyone know if android controllers work with the steam link? Thinking about getting something like this for my Android tablet:

HuniePop got the notice and that game doesn't even have naked tits in it unless you install an outside patch. And it's an actual entertaining game. Witcher 3 is an entertaining game but let's not pretend that all the fucking is there for the sake of High Art.

I can't comment on the 'value' of the other games getting hit because Visual Novels and stuff aren't my thing, boobs or no boobs.

I ultimately don't care much. The only thing explicit video game fucking does for me is imagine my wife rolling her eyes or realizing that I need to wait until the kids are in bed to play some shooter because there might be surprise bedroom scenes. If they took them all out, it wouldn't bother me. But it does look like a double standard.

Probably a third of our time was spent trying to solve puzzles that we had actually solved correctly but the game didn't register and unlock the next portion, forcing us to reload from a checkpoint and do it again. The reward for all this is a boss fight where two NPC bosses fight and you spectate. Save your time and money

Damn. The first one was actually really fun. Sucks to hear that...I'm sure it'll be bundled at some point anyway.

 
Its only redeeming point was that I got it for free from Amazon.  It was a physical copy that said "with season pass" on the website but was actually just the base game.  So you'd complain and they'd send you another one.  Then you complain again and they said "Here's your money back".  So two free copies of the (bad) game.  Wasn't intentional, just worked out that way.

I figured this was the case, quite few games on Steam even allow you to change the .txt file to enable adult content which bypass the distribution agreement.

Seems like Valve is fine with Witcher or GTA long as you angel the camera and don't show the actual adult interaction happening like TV?

Under the blanket or moving the camera out the way from the actual process happening is the difference between TV-MA and Adult content.

Yeah, I don't care either. I don't really understand the point of them when there's plenty of actual pornography on the internet. It's not exactly hard to find.

Also I do like VNs when they're good and I can tell you that exactly none of the boob ones on Steam are worth a shit.

I don't have any deals to post, but I just wanted to thank the media for all the BS coverage about the royal wedding this weekend because it will give me a chance to work on my Steam backlog. I've already tried Death Road to Canada, Pac-Man 256, Riptide GP 2, and Strike Suit Infinity since I got home from work this afternoon. Thanks, Meghan and Harry for making me not give a damn! :D

Man, driving all across your state to flip cheap stuff for an extra $20 store credit is now less lucrative. Good thing there is still scouring every Wal-Mart clearance in a 60 mile radius to make a couple bucks trade in at gamestop!

Oh Prismata nice! I had that one on the wish list, since I love card games.

Also an interesting article how someone doesn't know how many digital games they own Link Kotaku. I don't either, though I know probably about 65% of it. The stuff on Origins, PS+, some PSN, UPlay, random indie games DRM free, PS4/Vita/3DS/PS3 physical I still haven't fully cataloged. My Steam, PS2 and before console games are for the most part exactly chronicled. I wont give the number, but I've passed high marks missing a lot of games I already have. I use howlongtobeat.com. Just don't ever likely think you'll make it through your whole backlog, and knowing your whole backlog, can be a bit depressing.

Well you technically own DRM-free games, just not the associated intellectual property or redistribution rights (unless you made them yourself). Anything that requires an account to access is something you rent.
