I picked since 2002 since that's when Bethesda Game Studios was formulated, and ended with 2015 because that's when the last BGS game came out. As for since Skyrim, I marked that to show the lowered level of output in terms of single player games since then. I thought it was pretty obvious. Fine, make it since 2012 then. That's one in 6 years. Again, I'm not sure how you can argue making FO76 hasn't decreased their single player game production since it's just factually false. It's really not debatable...if the team is focusing on FO76 then other titles aren't prioritized. Honestly with your follow up argument which is kind of nonsensical I feel like you're trolling,
It's not nonsensical and it's not trolling. I just think I have much more optimistic and understanding view of what goes on in a game studio, especially with the way these open world games keep growing in size and scope with every sequel. There were 5 years between GTA IV and GTA V and it's been 5 years since GTA V. I don't think Rockstar is just sitting around doing nothing and I'm not blaming Red Dead Redemption or Agent for that. I just think that there's a lot of pressure for these types of games to get bigger and better and give you more bang for the buck so it's natural that these things start taking longer and longer to make. I don't think some online survival game, which probably took little effort to make compared to a full blown FO game, is the reason we won't see Fallout 5 for a few more years

If *only* it was an Irrational gaming discussion! I would much rather be reading about further Bioshock projects than Fallout projects. I've at least finshed a BioShock game...
Bioshock wasn't entirely made by Irrational Games, as the voice actors were contractual and not sourced from within the company itself. They averaged 2.16-2.36 lines per hour in the second Bioshock, making the delivery less appealing in the second game than the first. It's been 525,600 minutes since the last Little Sister promotional item went out of stock on ThinkGeek, and Infinite didn't even involve those previous mainstays that helped make the series more successful. Big Brother and Little Sister character designs were better received than Handymen. To say that the market is still fresh for another Bioshock is highly absurd, given they ended the trilogy in a different setting with similar structure and labeled it "Infinite," precluding any further entries in the series. They only paved the way for other developers to produce games with similar atmospheres, such as We Happy Few.

You're a stupidhead if you don't agree.

This has nothing to do with what you mentioned in the original post I replied to though. "Games are bigger now so it'll take longer" has little to do with your argument of "Bethesda as a company has to support Doom and Prey so of course BGS will take longer to release their own games"

So...

Some things he confirmed:
- No offline

- Playing 'Solo' will still have you seeing other players

- No NPCs, excluding robots

- PvP is still being tweaked to avoid greifing

- Modding will be present in 76 but not at launch

- Private servers will happen

How many expansions have there been to ESO and do they still have that piece-meal in-game DLC like buy these dungeons for 1,000 crowns or whatever?  Gotta be honest, Fallout 76 is making ESO look pretty good.

Here's the DLC and Expansion ("Chapter") list for ESO:

FO76 is only looking good b/c we ain't seen if it'll use Creation Club or not and we don't know if it'll have Expansions/Chapters and Mini-DLC's.... ;)

Watching AC: Odyssey on IGN for E3.

This looks like AC Origin's gameplay but without shields, Black Flag stuff (ship combat & travel), and that we've gone to Sparta (the setting).

I thought about buying some of them in a Steam sale a while ago but the fact that there's a dozen or so of them now makes me lose interest.
Um, excuse me, there have ONLY been TEN main games. Eleven if you include Odyssey.

And like 20 spinoffs.

See not that many.

SEGA officially announced Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Valkyria Chronicles 4 for PC.

EDIT: Holy shit, the pages are already up on Steam and Yakuza 0's priced incredibly fair at $19.99 ($17.99 if you pre-order):

I don't really know a damn thing about the Yakuza series except that people are freaking out about this announcement so I probably should too.

It's a bit like Shenmue but you play as a former yakuza guy, a lot of stuff to do and some very over-the-top fighting. Yakuza 0 is the best one in the series and a good place to start since it's a prequel. Kiwami is a remake of the first game from 2005 with the newer engine from 0.

I've never actually *played* a Yakuza game, but picked up Kiwami on PS4 as a cheap sale. It's interesting that Yakuza 0 Steam is so cheap relative to the physical PS4 version. Guess I'm getting 0 on Steam then!

Did he voice Sam in the Wildlands mission? Maybe that was his big gig!
Yes, he did.

His big gig is coming up in the next Splinter Cell. I think the E3 reveal for it was called "Tom Brady's Splinter Ass: Cell Creed" . I believe it takes place in Manitowoc, WI. Heard they recreated the city in game completely, a bar on every corner, along with several bowling alleys, gonna be great!

So it looks like the Division 2 isn't having a season pass for year 1 content drops. 3 planned 3 to 4 months apart. 8 man raids (again free) and working with the intent that end game would be the major focus.

Trying to go through upcoming games on Steam is really, really irritating these days.

That said, I did find this thing.
Yeah, been following that for a while now, I actually have access to the Alpha build. Art style is great and game has promise. Keyboard controls are a bit janky with default settings but i imagine a controller would work well.
