These fucking scumbag companies trying to make money, it's disgusting! Obama should pass some kind of law to protect us from these corporate overlord criminal scum. No company should ever be allowed to see so much as a single cent from the hard working people of mother Earth. Apparently Funstock Digital is having a Star Wars sale right now. Both Lego Star Wars games are $6.81 each, AND they're Steam keys. Almost all other Star Wars games are also on sale, except for the Mac ports and Mysteries of the Sith.

Just got an email from Steam. Broken Age will apparently be part of Midweek Madness. Sadly, it's only 30%.

EDIT: Huh, already on sale I guess. Used to Midweek Madness starting on Tuesday.

This sickens me! People that work hard should in no way ever be compensated, it's hideous! All those poor fast food workers should be paid millions for their tireless dedication of serving french fries in that special, loving way only someone with a sub 100 IQ could do.

I know! So what if they have to work 1036 hours at McDonald's to equal 1 hour of pay that the McDonald's CEO gets? Thanks, Obama, for letting all these kids get hooked on the pot so they do nothing except whine about entitlement and serve me delicious fries. They can't even let us monetize features they made and released for free for a game they like, those selfish brats. Update on useless Steam Customer Service:

I got a response today.  So I give them credit for giving me their useless response in a semi-timely manner. 

But as expected, it was completely useless.  Tell me to clear my Steam cache and what does that do?  Absolutely nothing.  And don't even address the fact they've pocketed $13 in tax that isn't owed anywhere.  

I figured it out on my own by changing my payment method to paypal and using my bank account and current address, canceling the order, and redoing it after with my wallet.  Just as I suspected, I don't pay sales tax to Steam here in GA.

$13 lesson learned, but I should have been on it when I first moved here or maybe caught on early so no one to blame but myself.  Good thing it was all imaginary card money so it's like they took back that which they created.

Yeah, I'm really curious about that.... and how they're counting. Based on the 8% of the Skyrim audience I'm inclined to guess 8% overall... but that might be too high... I wonder if it's 8% of Steam copies sold (regardless of playtime > 0 or an even better measure of playtime > reasonable #, say 10+ hours).

It's a made-up statistic they're using to scapegoat a marketing idea that people were outraged at. Even Bruticis is upset about it.

Pretty sure they're using the steam workshop mod subscription numbers.

And completely ignoring the people with mods from the nexus because those are essentially impossible to count.

Yes, that's the obvious method for counting people who mod, but how are they counting the total number of people who play Skyrim... that can make a big difference... # copies sold =/= people who've put at least 10 hours into Skyrim (just putting some lower hours played to filter out card idlers & tourists).
