This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

You could simplify the revoking as someone coming into the player's base and taking a disc representing a minigame. Then, the player could either accept the discount code left behind in a note (example below), or locate the distributor's headquarters and fight through support staff to get their game back.

I created a Facebook many, many moons ago just for giveaways/free shit. As soon as it went live I got all kinds of friend requests from assholes I've tried to forget. Constant harassment from dick captains blowing up my email. It ruined my life and now this just dredged up all those bad memories. Thanks. Thanks ALOT!

 
Seriously... My FB account is for some guy named Gary IactuallyforgetwhatImadeupforthelastnameandI'mtoolazytolook.

I've completely stayed away from Facebook otherwise since I figure if I've lost contact with someone there's probably a really good reason for it.  

Also, I don't need to know what Mary Soandso from my grade school is up to and I don't have the patience or energy to have conversations with people I couldn't care less about.

Edit: to add - I didn't actually have to follow anyone on twitter to get that key @ PCGamer.

I certainly wasn't impressed by what I played. And before some dick hole pops up with the "oh, but it's only a beta" argument, I guaran-fucking-tee the network issues and gameplay bugs will not be improved 1 iota between now and the launch. Never are.

The fact its multiplayer only is a massive turnoff. And no, I dont mean the beta. The released game is MP only besides that flimsy Terrorist Hunt.

Full MSRP for this game is a fallacy.

You all are making me feel better about deciding to play the RB6 Siege beta "Later". When I got the key 4 days ago  I had no idea it was only active till the 1st.  :shrug:

Unrelated:  Just 100% finished Arkham Knight.  I liked it quite a bit.  Can't believe I actually went and collected all the damn Riddler trophies/riddles as well.  Though I'm not 100% sure the Riddler fight and slightly extended final cutscene was worth the effort... but it didn't really take that long and some of the trophy puzzles/traps were well done.  

I would love to see whoever makes the next Batman game cut the total # of the things in half and make them all puzzles/traps rather than mixing in the pointless just-pick-em-up trophies though.  Also 243 of the things is more than ridiculous.

I hate to interrupt the new release bashing so I feel better about being left out talk, but this weekend I finally am FREE!!!!!

Yessir.  I am shipping the wife away for the weekend so she can go have a girls weekend with her friends out of town and while I was tempted to go the hookers and blow route, I decided to use the free weekend to do some gaming.  So Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night I'm up for setting up some brodates and MPing it up.  Open to suggestions and hoping to get as many people to the orgy party.  Drop your suggestions here to clog up the thread or PM if you want, but I prefer thread clog.  

 
Something like TF2 would be an obvious suggestion since it's (a) free and everyone has it, (b) can support as many people on a server as we're likely to have and ( c) doesn't have any real penalties for sucking aside from a brief wait before respawning.

I dont disagree, but Battlefront at least has more going for it coming in with co-op maps (also very enjoyable in SP) + the Star Wars license + actually being fun MP. It shouldnt be $60 and anyone paying it is an idiot.

I don't have to talk about SW:TOR. Didn't play it.

While SW:BF might not become a financial failure, but I'll just wait til it's dirt-cheap like any other MP-game that likely will lack content. The great thing about SDK's back in the day was there was always a plethora of MP-maps users & modders created; and new modes created - never had to worry about high-profile MP games going away anytime soon. No wonder MP games like Titanfall die so quickly.

I have group of friends and we use to play MP games almost everyday. We are playing R6 A LOT and as I said before, we found the game to be amazing. Yes, it is a bit glitchy sometimes... But the game is so fun. And we're only playing terrorist hunt (on realistic). We tried the main MP game (attack and defend). But we faced a group that were miles better than us and got slaughtered xD

We're planning on buying it from Nuuvem (around $40 gold version)

You know that SW:BF actually has a history of being good though, right? Compared to a totally new franchise in Titanfall. It's not really a fair comparison or accurate prediction IMO.

I'd be more concerned about what her "girl's trip" is about. Have you ever been to a strip club? Women have no problem sticking their boobs and asses in other women's faces. They make men pay and give it to women for free, and the women love it. It's like all women are lesbians to some degree.

Battlefront wont be a financial failure lol. You're talking about a huge Star Wars game less than a month before the new film comes out. It probably already isn't just on preorders. Battlefront also is historically fantastic for an MP shooter (its beloved) and speaking already from having played it (in Alpha no less) it looks amazing and was a lot of fun. There's no reason to pay $60 for it though, but that goes without saying. Many will.

Titanfall died because it provided nothing other than being MP only and was a new IP that wasnt very interesting in the first place.

Play it when its in free beta in a few weeks. If only to look at it. Even if you dont like MP shooters, my favorite part of the alpha was playing Survival against waves of Stormtroopers by myself.

so i tried to be mr. funny guy and buy nba 2k16 from nuuvem for $24. as expected no dice. haven't been keeping up with the thread lately so what i'm asking is, who's Brazilian jake?
