This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Lame so i need to make another account/password on some dumb site that i'll have to remember. Too bad, i was looking forward to this game but im not doing more 3rd party account/DRM bullshit. Maybe if it pops up on GOG at some point without that i'll snag it.

 
So my gamble on The Park from Putinland GG paid off.  Just saw my key was in my account and it activated fine on Steam.  DLing now.  I'll be the envy of all in TSW with my chipmunk suit.

Last night, I got two drops. One was just a clothing outfit which I lost later on. The first was sweet and had a blueprint but I got killed by a Jurassic Park spitting dino and was never able to find my body again. Syntax on the other hand kept getting more dinos. I tamed two dodos and called them Spoder and Spoder II.

Damn it, I meant to buy that. Gilby'd it instead.

Bruticus embodies True America. Starts off giving the fledgling nation some international aid then, next thing you know, there's a plane flying spy missions overhead to evaluate your military forces and they're planning regime change.

Apparently, Bruti picked up Drabe and threw him in the ocean to the sharks at some point.  Bruti is like a villain in a video game, we just haven't figured out his end game.  

I suspect he invites everyone and acts all friendly to make others do the work of taming dinos, building bases, collecting loot, etc.  Then one day he will unleash some hidden army of huge beasts to kill us all and he will remain the king on his own private server.

He did. I survived, I punched them in the face. Swam to shore, he picked me back up and took me to syntax's house. I logged off and syntax's Dino ate me. I haven't been back since.
 
Actually, I picked Drabe up (to carry him to the Brawny Gents lair, mind you) and he proceeded to start stabbing my poor eagle's belly with the pike I had just given him. I'm sure he was in some kind of drunken stupor and assumed a wild eagle was carrying him off to become baby eagle food. I may or may not have accidentally dropped him on sharks to protect my eagle, Betsy Ross.

 
So an update for those who care (i.e., no one). I was able to install Windows 8.1 by clearing out the usb drive and using it to boot. Worked great and have since upgraded to Windows 10. Now I just need to update all my drivers and install whatever I want on it an I'll be good to go.

So, now I have more questions:
 

Now that I have Win 10 installed, what do I need to change to make it safe and user-friendly similar to 7? Anything major that needs done?

Also, on my second HDD, I have not done anything to it since I took it out of my old PC. Am I able to just access it like a second hard drive and have things saved and installed there? Is there a way to uninstall Windows 7 off of it or is there even a reason to? Do I need to reinstall all the programs that are already on there?

Haha, I was meaning all the info Win 10 tries to send to Microsoft. There was some big deal about this when it came out, I think. I turned everything I thought of off during the installation but I wasn't sure if there is more I need to do.

I'm still using classic shell in Win 10. Helps a lot with start menu related issues.

 
ARK update: Tribe has found and tamed 2 parasaurs. Narcotics productions increased. Soon can begin muling product across river into North Arkeria. First you get the narco, then you get the dinos, and then you get the women. Right?
 
Yeah, I will not be installing something to "hide" my privacy. I will just disable any and everything I can that makes sense. I'll dig into it this week.
