HRK is mad that you dipshits aren't buying their "six random games for $8" packs. On top of Black Ops, you could be winning GTA V, Just Cause 3, MGS V and more! Go get 'em, boys!

What about the other 9 keys?

ZACKZERO - FKVV4-NI52X-TK2B5

RETURNNULL - 2N5H9-VHP39-9LDD0

You could have had either of these awesome games MysterD.

Bad Rats is lazy shorthand for "terrible game" but it's probably better than at least 30% of the crap coming out of Greenlight these days.
I reviewed about 50 greenlight games about 2-3 days ago. I swear I only thumbed up about 7 of those and many looked worse than bad rats easily. I agree whole heartily with the statement!

BTW if I see any more platformers with worse graphics than what came out in the 90s (apogee games and such) I will scream. So many of these look like the worst graphics possible for games.

This needs some other titles, such as:

Dying Light

SoM GotY

Fallout 4

AC Syndicate

GTA 5

Hot Random Mess Keys

Knock yourself out. Let us know when you win one of the amazing AAA games pictured.
does greenman have a refund policy for the mystery games?

Refunds on HRK Lottery

HRK offers a one time refund for games purchased on HRK Lottery. The title(s) are refundable twenty-four hours of purchase if they are unused in HRK inventory. To avoid any kind of abuse for our refund policy, we only offer the refund for HRK Lottery 1 time for each consumer. Any refund request after the first purchase from HRK Lottery will be denied.

Nope but that makes me want to buy 10 keys. If I don't get something cool just refund it and go back to pretending HRK doesn't exist. That said, they would probably deny the refund for some BS reason.

That's... kind of brilliant, really. You figure it's a safe deal since you can get your money back so you try the one. It sucks so you get your $8 back. But now you have $8 back in your pocket and you've already crossed the mental threshold for buying random boxes and maybe the next one...

It's all about getting you in the door. Same reason why one of the local casinos around here offers to refund $100 worth of losses to first time players.

It's cool, guys. HRK is run by G2A, and everybody knows they're totally legit and nobody has ever had a problem.

Speaking of, I wonder (but not enough to actually look) whoever won the "free island" in the JC3 contest.  And what half-assed sandbar they passed off as an island.

Here you go, degenerates: Play The Elder Scrolls Online, win ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

This thread probably should be nuked.
*$1,000,000 (USD) Grand Prize winner will receive $50,000 USD a year for 20 years, without interest.

must be a legal resident of: (i) one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (excluding residents of Florida, New York, Rhode Island, the territories and military installations), (ii) Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec, (iii) Finland, (iv) France, (v) Germany, (vi) Mexico, (vii) Norway, (viii) Russia, (ix) Switzerland, or (x) the United Kingdom.

How will you know unless you buy the bundle?
Tell me first what's in it.

Then I'll skip the bundle, regret it, and post annoying stuff about it again + again on CAG - like TSW with GMG for $5 & that killer IndieGala XMas deal.

Just like this.

EDIT:

Can't wait for the sequel!

I will only care about it when Tebow gifts it to me as a +1.

As probably the only one who has completed Bad Rats I can say it's not that bad. It's just a boring puzzle game with awful physics and a stupid premise.

To bring balance to the Steam thread I'm going to ignore all this mystery bundle business and continue revealing question marks on the map in The Witcher 3.

The saddest thing is this is going to be a great success for them so they will be bringing it back throughout the year and we'll be repeating this dumbassery every time (Except me, I've learned my lesson, I promise, this is the last time I buy a mystery thing ever).
LIES, we have a seat for you in the humble monthly club. The humble monthly people would like the thank you gmg people for locking up the morans of the year title early this year.

Sigh.

I bought a set of two 4 GB RAM sticks so my computer would have 16 GB total... and the RAM is incompatible with the ones I already had. They're the same model, but from different batches and years (2010 vs 2014). This appears to be a known issue.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good 16 GB DDR3 set I can grab off Amazon? I have $15 in credit there, might as well put it to good use.

Edit: Welp never mind, those prices are ridiculous. Ugh.

As weird as it sound. Pairing them with the same brand and specs is like 50/50 if you got them again years later. That's why they also sell them in 4 pack for the compatibility. You have a better chance of getting the pair to work with any other brand with same specs.

Must be something in the water. I just had a memory issue yesterday but it was solved and was down to my mistake. I got a deal on an 8 GB stick that I picked up on ebay. Was brand new from a reputable dealer so I was confident. I got it yesterday and installed it and at first Windows was telling me that only 8 of 12 GB was usable and 4 GB were in hardware reserved and BIOS was only reading 8 GB (which is what I started with). Turns out I needed to switch slots and everything was fine immediately. Ordered another stick.

That said, check out Ebay, may be able to find a deal there.

The humble monthly is a bit different. Yes, it's a mystery box, but everybody gets the same thing at the same time and even if there's a big AAA title in it the value is automatically deflated because so many copies are out there. Some of the possible titles in the GMG box are bigger than anything in Humble and retain their relative value more. Value wise, GMG is more likely to be a waste if money, but they scratch different itches. I do wish there was more middle ground like decent indies or older AAA games. It's either 1 decent game or five worthless ones.

So what you're saying is the Humble Monthly is better than the stupid, random GMG bundle you bought, and you feel like a dumbass for buying 7 of them?

I'm sorry but it makes no damned sense.

If you want Call of Doody then buy Call of Doody on a sale with a voucher.

If you want to get some games cheap and then flip them for a profit then just go and do some Bobby shit. There's much more sure fire ways of doing that than gambling.

That's how it got me. My first one was a dud and I felt so dumbass morans that I said "I will buy until I make my money back." On the flip side, being able to go to a casino without having to leave the house was fun. In my head I was thinking "when I get 5 copies of BO3 I will be the envy of all CAG!"
so what you are saying is that you tried to cut your loss/improve your gain by "moraning" 6+ more GMG mystery boxes?

out of curiosity, why did you stop at 7th try? Your 8th could be Black Ops :whistle2:

But I didn't really want to do either. I own most of the CODs on PS3. I just wanted to gamble to see what my chances were.
