This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Don't go all emo on me

Does someone have the direct link for the murdered soul suspect square enix site where its 1.99 pounds? gonna link it to a friend so he can buy it for me since I cant buy it myself

I'm still looking for someone to buy Murdered: Soul Suspect for me from the Euro Square Enix store.

I'll Throw in one buck over the Euro price for your trouble.

I think this sends the wrong message. Now everyone will be making death threats to Lord Gaben cuz they'll think they can get away with it!
They sold the rights completely. Apparently the dude who threatened him as well as the dudes company is entirely hands off now.

Wooden Floor (Groupees BAGB 7) steam keys are up.
Thanks, The Tiny Tale 2 keys are up too... not sure if that was posted.

That's the second time today that I've gone to Groupees to see if I had a game in question, found I did not, and then found a different one that was added.

Edit: just found 7 Kingdoms 2 HD from BAGB 12 too.

Yeah, Groupees is adding lots of keys.

To me it sounds like he was playing dumb and intentionally made a it a big fucking hassle to email a log file (which requires you finish the tutorial, so you actually have to play the game to some extent), and link your Steam ID + in-game Aerena name so that people would hesitate emailing them.
Wat? All I did was install it and run the launcher and I had a log file. I think I only had to give them my Steam name too. I don't even have an in-game name.

But I emailed them immediately, so maybe they changed the reqs?

Bundles have been so bad at this point I'd buy Dead Rising 3 for 50% off. Or, hell, give me Killing Floor 2 alpha/beta.
I was trying to sell a DR3 copy for like $30 for half a month. WHERE WERE YOU?

Yeah, I belong to that group. I like what you all are doing and I always look forward to the announcements It's entirely possible that I missed one thanks to the endless Activity spam that Valve has chosen to inflict upon us.

They REALLY need to add collapsible entries -- or at least a check box that says "don't add this group's announcements to my feed". I've got so much mandatory group-for-keys subscriptions, bundle site spam, and general nonsense going on that my feed is a pain in the ass to read.

What I hate more is that group announcements get notication pop-ups when you're in game.

...not that I'd expect any of you to know or understand what that means.

Then just sub to one of the threads. Probably the Main Keys Added one is best. Once in a while some idiots jibber jabber about nonsense but we're pretty good about cleaning it up really quick.

If you absolutely can't stand the idea of potential false alerts then you can sub to the Read Only Keys Added thread. It's basically a mod edited mirror, but depends on one of us getting around to it. It's not quite as current as the other thread but way more current than the announcements which are about a once a week thing usually. We only do those because some people whine if we don't. But really the threads are better.

Show "released" and "bundled" only.
Actually that will just show you what games were in a bundle that now have a Steam store page, not necessarily that have given keys to the bundle sites. You want to select "Keys added" instead of bundled for that.

And I know the guy who runs that page and he gets the key added info from our Group, which we're totally fine with. But our Main Keys Added thread is slightly faster since there's usually a bit of a delay before he can get around to adding that info to his site. He's pretty quick about it though.

For most people either is fine. If you're Spoder and want to get on that card idling shit like yesterday though then the Main Keys Added thread is generally the quickest notification.

One nice thing about the greenlightupdates.com site is you can create an account and have it send you email updates, so that may work better for some people.

Yesterday, I emailed the developer of Aerena the screen shot of my Steam account with Aerena Founder Package dlc showing.  Got the key for Master Edition the next day.

Very nice developer!

Looks like Nuuvem is having a little Carnival sale through the 18th. Nothing stands out for me today, but there's a LotR: Mordor Bundle (Steam) for about $25 (Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor; Lord of the Rings War in the North; LEGO Hobbit; LEGO Lord of the Rings; Guardians of Middle-Earth) that might be nice if you are a fan and have none of these (why??). And for people born yesterday, there's a Rockstar Bundle (Steam) that's decent for about $7 (Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, Max Payne 3 & Max Payne 3: Rockstar Pass)

BIt too late for that, ey Pete? Good riddance, if he actually sticks to that (which he won't).

Anyways, some deals for this fine morning:

GamersGate has more 48-hour deals (including Tomb Raider stuff, Valkyria Chronicles and Metro Reduxes) and the 10% off promo code is still good.

GetGamesGo has an weekend RPG-sale which has nothing that impressive (and no voucher), but they say they'll be adding more titles by the end of the day. The standouts of the sale for me are two DRM-free (eww) games called The Island Castaway 1 & 2. Does anyone know anything about them?

IndieGala is doing a B1G2 with their Darksiders bundle (making each bundle $4.75).

And lastly, there's a Squeenix sale on the Ubi store that apparently has Temple of Osiris at 80% off. Unfortunately, US customers seem to be stuck with the 66% off discount while Euros, Aussies and Brits seem to enjoy the 80% off. Why? Because Squeenix hates America like usual, that's why.

Yeah Squeenix can suck it. It's like they are getting revenge for WWII 70 years late or something.

And Tomb Raider at Gamersgate? No thanks, been then, don't that, had it taken back. I'll wait for a real store to have it on a good sale.

Oh and how about Pete M just stop talking period. Talking is what got him into this mess in the first place and it's not the first time he did this shit either.

the gamersgate price on ghost recon future soldier is the historical low, it is the only ghost recon I do not have on steam.

I'm just not sure I want to support gamersgate after what it did to this thread yesterday....

I posted something on reddit about liking both consoles and pc gaming and what everyone offers. A clearly Sony fanboy reposed with some drivel about Playstation Vue and how it will destroy xbox one. Whatever I don't care.

But his next comment? "sadly, PC gaming doesn't offer anything besides indies and beautiful graphics for year old games."

I get that PC gaming is not for everyone, but how can anyone seriously type something so dumb?

In Old Lady Big Fish gaming news, Mumbo Jumbo had a pretty serious bug with Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials where the game did some divide by zero math and when you got an achievement screwed up your account so your average completetion rate for everything on Steam [customspoiler=went to 0%]
s3cfP3k.jpg
[/customspoiler].

Instead of, you know, fixing it they just yanked out the achievements and won't be bringing them back.

Console logic. Don't question it. Just smile and nod at their ignorance and feel superior on the inside.

Another vote for Shatter.  I thought it was a really brilliant update of the classic Arkanoid formula, with great graphics, a new gameplay mechanic that I thought was cleverly designed, and music that I still listen to all the time on its own.  I should really get back to it and finish it one of these days.

I don't know about you, but I remember being a kid and not having money to buy even one game I wanted, never mind a whole console or PC. That was pretty frustrating.

That said, I still don't think I would have said anything that dumb.

Let's not go down that slippery slope of calling consoletards people.
