You take enough of them? You sure you didn't wanna grab Penguins Arena too?

Because I can't paste the full gif without being banned:

Mmm there are a couple of really cheap games on dlgamer europe.

Not sure if they have any type of lock though.

This game in particular makes me wonder if it is a price glitch or something happens with namco and dlgamer in particular.

http://www.dlgamer.es/descargar-saint_seiya_soldiers_soul-juegos_pc-p-31860.html 10€
They posted this on Reddit, so I'm pretty sure it's not a glitch. This is only region locked in Asia and Russia, so you can scream DAME TU CHICLE PEGADOOOOOOOOOOOOOO all you want.

You could put that $81 towards these games and dakimakura art.
If only it included a waifu pillow that I could have my way with and totally resell for twice what I paid for it later on.

Also, I have no idea what dakimakura is.

Edit: I typed dakimakura into google and the first result was a waifu pillow. Awesome.

The thing about anime games are that they're always shitty-ass reskinned fighting games. DBZ, Naruto, One Piece, DBZ, Saint Seiya, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, DBZ, Zatchbell, Yuyu Hakusho, etc. They're all fighting games, and they're all shit. The only ones that get a pass are Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage and whatever that One Piece Dynasty Warriors clone is that has you playing the first few arcs. But even those are lazy cash-ins on popular franchises (I guess they're still relevant) and weren't even that fun to play. They used to have okay games in the PS2 era with Gungrave and Fullmetal Alchemist Elixir Whatever Whatever We Made Up Wrath And Ruined The Show, but then DBZ came in with more fighting and now that's all they make.

I've got an Asian girlfriend, so I've watched some animus in my day. I just don't understand why the games are always boring fighting games. Devs would be onto something if they made like an Azumanga Daioh fighting game (really anything to do with that creepy old teacher would be funny) or a Doraemon survival-horror, instead of fighting games based on fighting anime where a fight spans 5 episodes of talking and countless flashbacks of each character's childhood bowel movements, where the character finally remembers some fortune cookie he got when he was 2 that told him to never give up and then creates a new ultimate move that ends that fight until the next fight when the bad guy has a new ultimate move the character has to overcome ad infinitum.

So are Microsoft games coming to Steam? Because I really haven't heard anyone talk about that yet.

I've got an Asian girlfriend
Then clearly you are an expert on all things weeaboo.

FWIW the Naruto game is decent enough. Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 actually has a lot of story and sort of adventure/RPG mode where you're running around, talking to people in villages and what not, buying items and don't little mini quests etc. So it's not just all fighting. Though Revolution is pretty much all fighting.

Anyway if they are cheap enough on sale somewhere eh. $10 for one of those games is still better than 4 or 5 or 10 Poopees bundles.

And the Saint Seiya game even if you get the Russian is a soft region lock just needs vpn to activate once, not to play. I might have Putingated it a while back on sale. Though this is pretty close to what I paid and no region lock supposedly.

Lots of anime games are open-world JPRGs, strategy RPGs, visual novels, Cave shooters, simulation, or micromanagement something or other. I mean, you just named a bunch of shonen anime, so yeah those games are based around fighting. But I guess you are probably only referring to video games that are made after actual shows.

Sorry but unless you have an Asian girlfiend then you automatically lose this argument.

The DLGamer link Tom posted is for Saint Seiya Hades Whatever, and that's just another fighting game. Narutomate Ninjunk Storm 3 Cashgrabolution is the same thing. All that comes to mind when thinking about games based on anime shows are fighting games, but I guess there's really not much you can do with a series that already has a watchable, plot-based story within that same genre. Unless, of course, you make it ridiculous like the games I mentioned. I'm sure Japan has a lot of games that are better, since anime is their thing, but the rest of the world shouldn't get the fighting crap exclusively.

EDIT: That 14-year-old has some nice boobs for being 14. Good job, Motoki!

I doubt that developers are able to write much of any new, canon plot for anime series based on their licensing deals.  But the simplest and most probable answer is that those brand name games are just cash grabs.  Much like all the other shitty video games based on movies.  And all the movies based on video games.  Almost all the titles you listed are made by Namco-Bandai as well.  They specialize in that sort of thing.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is really good and I don't like fighting games.

I don't agree with blade on his statement for once. I haven't bought Saint Seiya yet, but I want it because I love the anime.

We don't we get their titty games too.
No, we don't get titty games based on titty anime. We get titty anime games, and then are flooded with fighting games based on anime.

Yes, they are cash grabs. It probably is just Namco-Bandai being a terrible company. Don't do it, Tom! It's an uninspired game for 10 Gyros!

I'm not really seeing this huge glut of Anime fighting games. If you look through everything tagged as Anime on Steam by far the vast majority are shitty visual novels, shitty RPG Maker games and thinly veiled pedo loli porn that you go download an H patch somewhere for.

I'm not counting consoles because their threads are thataway.

Totally didn't buy FIFA 16 for $13.49 gringobucks and it totally didn't work like a charm.

I'd thank Motoki for his help but as I didn't buy it I don't need to.

And I'm totally not on the fence about DA:I Inquisition GOTY either.

:whee:

Found this link on Steamgifts... May be of interest to fans of Halo and Gears of War, etc.

Master Chief collection on steam with online campaign co op would be nice. I've only played the first two Halos on the original xbox and the campaigns were lots of fun with a friend.

Rare Replay so I can play Perfect Dark would be very awesome as well. Put so much time into that game on my N64 forever ago.

Thanks for the drop. I was only missing Jackal & ENKI from that list. I tried both, but they were already taken. Thanks anyway.

Oh and thanks for providing steam page links for all the games. You really didn't need to do that, but it sure did make it easy to check which games I already owned.

*tips hat*

I was missing Jackal too and of course it was lurked so I checked Tremor and there's a bunch for 99 coins there.

I wish [customspoiler=REDACTED]
o1OHJYK.jpg
[/customspoiler] could check your account and fish out which Tremor games are in stock that you don't own. Would make my CAGWorldProblems a lot easier.

Probably old news to everyone but me, but I just noticed that Doom (2016) has a demo on Steam now (~7.5 GB).
Just tried the DOOM (2016) Demo...

...And it's awesome; and that's only the first level here (which is all that's here in this demo, actually).

Within seconds, you get a gun and just blow enemies away.

This feels like old-school DOOM (huge open-areas and lots of enemies to destroy) with a few twists (Glory Kills). The graphics with most stuff even on Medium at 1080p with 50-60FPS performance on my rig is awesome. That is all.

I can't wait til this one gets cheaper.

Speaking of giveaways, where the fuck are the 1070s and 1080s that are retail cost!? Even the non FE 1070s are $400+. So, in summation, WT actual F is going on here?

Yeah I was surprised how well it ran on my old rig. I did have to download new drivers and manually enable SLI to get 50-60 fps on Ultra @ 1080p.

Guess i'll pick up how to How To Survive 2 with some Steambucks. I also tried out Rage Parking Simulator.....sucks....only played 5 minutes but it was 5 too many!
