I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

If HRK does not scare you, they have added a few more games to their build a bundle thing.   Some Granny games from my wishlist (House of Snark 6 in 1, Incredible Dracula: Chasing Love) among others.

The National Zoo is weirdly out of time. After visting my local zoos in Chicago (Brookfield & Lincoln Park), I was surprised to see that the National Zoo is still very much "concrete boxes or pits with animals" with little attempt to simulate a natural habitat. It was like visiting a zoo in the 1970s.

Like Preedatore mentions, you can get some good Central/South American cuisine in that area since it has a large Latino population from those regions. Which was a little bit of a novelty to me since I was used to All Mexican, All The Time.

I dunno, that new roaming elephant habitat was pretty cool. But took up an AWFUL lot of space that could have been used for so many other creatures. But yes, going into the old primate or reptile houses... feels like I'm back in the 1920's. ;) And the smell.

I guess that Snark 6-in-1 pack is the only way to get the third House of 1,000 Doors game on Steam since Viva Media never released it separately. As far as granny HOGs go, I rather liked Ho1KD. I'd put it up there with some of the Artifex Mundi Brink of Consciousness stuff as the better of the grandma stuff.

Yeah, these were fun on the PS2. They fell to $20 MSRP back then and could easily be had for $5. In fact, I still have them. That said, I get it, it costs money to port stuff so let's hope these fakeybros pay the porting fees and us cheapassgamers can get them for 33% off in a sale 3 years from now (I mean, they are Activision after all).

They added achievements and online co-op. That's... quite a bit of work, especially considering this is an Activision game. They'd usually just dump the game with no fixes...

75% off or bust, though. And they'd better release the DLC for free...

Edit: According to SteamDB, each game is priced at $2111993 in China. The game is $50 USD in New Zealand. Both games are VERY expensive in all regions, but really, $45 in Peru? Christ, Activision is delusional.

That's OK. I'm already going to die mysteriously after my FB post trying to explain how e-mail works to all the morans wrapped around the axle about the 1-4 servers in her basement. Makes my head explode. From, To, CC, BCC and every box in between - Servers, servers everywhere, as far as the eye can see, ALL now littered with classified material. Odd how none of that is ever mentioned.

I don't keep bringing it up. I just respond to it. Then I let it go and it dies down and someone has to make another comment about it later trying to be cool edgy and funny.

I don't expect anyone to be rational about any of it though. People need cartoon heroes and villains and they're going to think what they're going to think no matter what.

We could all pitch in to buy everyone (who won't shut up about politics) a copy of The Ship: Remastered. They can play with cartoon heroes and villains all day long! Plus The Ship was a decent game.

More fuel to add to the Epic vs. Microsoft fire:

Keep in mind, Epic has their own launcher/game-client program now (Epic Launcher, which mostly is for Shadow Complex PC and Unreal Engine stuff right now) and Tim (Sweeney) isn't super-fond of Microsoft. Remember, they (Epic) did work for M$ for years - i.e. with the Gears of War series - and they did sell the IP/franchise off to Microsoft.

I would dual-boot WIndows + likely SteamOS (or whatever OS most of the new games fled to), if (key-word here) it ever comes down to it. I got way too many games on Windows to entirely abandon Windows. Hopefully, if M$ ever did go the lock-down route on their OS, terminate Win32 for usage on their OS, or pull any other nonsense - someone would find a work-around, create a work-around or something of the sort.

I know, a whole lot of "What if" scenarios there...
