Stupid question, I am about to buy mass effect 2 for 5 bucks on steam, but I don't see any DLC anywhere, after googling it says I have to use the steam key to play the game on origin. Is this still the case? That was from a couple of years ago. Is there really no way to get the DLC content on steam?
So any hunches as to tomorrow's July Humble Monthly surprise unlocks, or as to what the August headliners will be? Have been holding off on getting anything from the Steam summer sale in part because of that.

I haven't heard nearly as many fireworks over the last week as I have in years past. One can only assume that the majority of fireworks users in the area blew off their hands last year in freak accidents and are no longer capable of terrorizing my pets well into the night.

I was actually very surprised this year. I have a very anxious and fear reactive dog that I expected to have a terrible night. Thankfully, he seemed to be able to ignore the fireworks and sleep through them. Those jerks started like an hour before sundown and went through 1:00 am.

I'm as old as my mother was when my older sister started her 4th year of college, so I'm damn close. Also, at least 2 of my ex-girlfriends are grandmothers now so, yeah, I'm old.

Well, someone in Michigan has currently barricaded himself in his home and is shooting the robots the police sent in after having a stand off all night long (all night). The News says the guy shot up some neighborhood teens because they were playing with sparklers.
Love is Dead, Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus, 60 Parsecs!, NAIRI: Tower of Shirin, and Road Redemption were the July 2019 unlocks. Kingdom Come Deliverance and Surviving Mars for August.
Coincidentally, also my reaction upon seeing the August Humble monthly. Since I have both games and the Survivng Mars base game is worth $10. Maybe they'll actually give you the overpriced season pass too. Technically its only worth $12 but if you bought the base game at release it is still $23, when on sale anyway.
July wasn't too great either but Warhammer Mechanicus saves it.

I am finally playing through Divinity 1 right now and it is awesome. The voice work for Captain Aureus is so good lmao. He makes me laugh every time.
For whatever reason I shelved these games over the years and now I'm finally getting though playing them. It really is the best CRPG since the Baldur's Gates and better than Pillars of Eternity 1 imo. I'm level 10 and probably about halfway through the game at 37 hours and loving it. The Baldur's Gate 3 announcement really lit a fire under my ass and I realized that I needed to tear through Larian Studios games, pronto. Can't wait to dive into #2 following this one.
