I've debated getting ME physical memorabilia, but was afraid it would escalate my status from geek to nerd.

stop pretending you dont love mysterd's jokes, and then when people actually get him to explain the thought process behind them

More extras to give out. All are keys unless stated otherwise. I'll loosen the requiements from my past giveaways, since I'm feeling lazy.

Requirements: Have at least 100 posts. Quote with what game you would like. (And for decency's sake, don't quote the entire list.)

Desura:
Alchemy Mysteries: Prague Legends
i's always so late for these...

So Air Control got reviewed by Gamespot. The results are exactly what you think they would be.

When asked why the reviewer gave a 1 instead of zero he replied

We don't have a 0.

I actually tweeted yesterday that I wish we could make an exception and add 0 to the scale. I actually think this game is worse than Big Rigs, and is easily the worst retail game I have ever played.
Also rhinos apparently fly coach class. Who knew?

Kinda wish these "reputable" reviewers would just stop wasting their time with greenlight dregs. Air Control has gotten waaaaaaay too much free publicity under the guise of pointing out Steam flaws, when all these websites and youtubers are doing is gathering trainwreck clickbait.

I disagree. I think it needs to be publicized because it exposes just how fucked up Greenlight and Valve's using it as an excuse to do absolutely no Quality Control whatsoever is.

The joke that is Earth Year 2066 wouldn't have gotten yanked if the gaming press hadn't picked up the story.

Valve pretty much buries their head in the sand unless something publicly embarrasses them enough.

So rather than just give keys away to you greedy bastards, I am running a contest. Deadline is sometime in the next 12 hours.

One entry per person, and my favorites will get to pick from my bundle dupe spreadsheet.

Scenes From a Hat . . .

"Even though I've done it over a thousand times, I still love putting one in your backlog."

Lame. Just started to go through my bundle backlog, and Steam throws up a "too many unsuccessful activation attempts" error while I'm inputting keys. Apparently this happens if you redeem more than 25 keys in a day.

Steam:

Awesomenauts (Humble Gift Link)

The Humble Daily Bundle: Deep Silver ReBundle! [customspoiler=Includes]

  • Risen 2: Dark Waters
  • Saints Row 2
  • Saints Row: The Third
  • Sacred 2 Gold
[/customspoiler]
Definitely Awesomenauts. If no other takers for it, I have a spot for that Deep Silver ReBundle, too, but I'll wait to see if anyone else is interested on that one.

"Aww shit, are you going down on me again? I guess I'll have to watch some porn instead"

I'm playing Watch Dogs on my ps4 and it runs fine, no uplay either.
Played it for a while tonight. Ran well on my system:

i7 860 @ 3.60 GHz

3gb Radeon 7950

12gb RAM

Settings aren't maxed out but they're set on "high" for the most part. Playing for a few hours, I'd say that anyone who bought it early has nothing to be ashamed of and anyone who's waiting isn't missing out on anything so grand that they're making a mistake. It's fun, the world looks nice, the whole magic phone thing is unique and amusing but it doesn't feel like it's really breaking a bunch of new ground. Some aspects feel sort of half-assed, minor but they make you wonder why they bothered at all. For instance, cars play music but there's no radio stations like in GTA, Saints Row, Mafia II, etc. You just have a button to skip the current song and play the next one. You can buy new outfits but they're all just color changes for your goofy ass coat. Neither of those are remotely game breaking but they detract when you're already comparing the game to all the other open world crime type games. Driving mechanics are pretty shoddy but no worse than SRTT/SR4. But the new stuff is fun and you'll enjoy electronically opening gates, raising bollards behind you to block pursuit or flipping traffic lights on the go (to predictable effect).

Chicago feels fairly Chicago-ish with some bizarre geography and naming conventions. Apparently "Magnificent Mile" is a trademark because we get "Mad Mile" (heh), Sears/Willis Tower is there and the Hancock building is sorta there (but oddly changed in shape) and some other landmark buildings but no Museum campus, Art Institute or Soldier Field. Also, only one generic baseball stadium called "May Field" or something. Even stranger is that the Chicago River has seemingly run amuck and flooded much of the city with the South Side and Logan Square being largely underwater. Anyway, it still feels a lot more like Chicago than, say, Hitman: Absolution and I give it 3 out of 4 six-pointed stars for trying.

Damn, I complained about the lack of radio stations in my beta report, but it looks like they didn't care much about that. That's disappointing.

I will note that the outfit changes aren't purely color, but the differences are fairly minor (mostly seen in the hat). Think about it though, the outfit "changes" are just like buying dyes in Assassin's Creed games. I found the wide selection cool and didn't have a problem with that.

I'm surprised by you saying the driving mechanics are shoddy, though. Are you driving with a controller? Because driving was what I did most in the beta (me and another two testers were partied up, and couldn't get enough of the racing mode), and it felt really really good. Obviously it's not on par with a pure racing game, but it's hands down the best driving mechanics I've ever come across in an open world GTA/SR type of game. If you were using a keyboard for the driving though, I doubt it's going to feel much different.

And yeah, I have to say again, the racing mode is fucking fun.

"I love being able to play with you without virus protection."

and

"I'm sorry so much of you goes untouched but my needs come first!"

and

"I love knowing I'm your first."
