I would give you a Steam key, but I have changed the name of my game and also my name and the names of my kids. Everyone who bought the bundles can email me, and I will give some of them a key, but the rest I will ignore or whatever. I expect this process to take seven years, so please be patient.

I'm on lycos mail. I checked the spam bin, it's not there. (WGN stuff winds up in the inbox.)

Yeah, I looked at the links/process on WGN, you're right, it looks like I missed the small window for Woodle Tree. (It's so hard to keep track of all of this.) I took the appropriate screengrabs and emailed about my still missing Dead Bits. Thanks.

You have to turn off vibration in the options. I played through Batman: Arkham Asylum with keyboard and mouse the first time. I got a 360 pad some time later - then when GFWL was stripped and Steam achievements were added, I played it again. My pad fell off my desk when the game started.

Since I mostly play with mouse and keyboard I always go into the options and look for a way to turn that off. Very few games don't have that as an option.

That's not true,they (yeah yeah technically valve whatever) also don't do quality control :p (which would probably be a good reason for Steam to not toast bread, you'd get one piece that's 100% burnt and the other piece wouldn't be toasted at all.)

Just wanted to say thanks. I actually received two emails finally, both for Dysan. One had a key in it, one had that fallback gibberish, but when viewed in the web browser it displayed the same key as in the previous email.

{is now happy; still goes to play ME3}

As many know - I loved Flashback on the Genesis, back in the day.

So, I DL'ed the Flashback 2013 Demo from UPlay last night - and it wouldn't boot-up on UPLay. Giving me a UPlay error that "need to install Uplay". Yet, any other UPlay game I owned would boot. Go figure. Probably a UPlay issue. Freaking UPlay.

So, decided to DL the Flashback Demo from Steam - and that version worked (probably b/c I noticed it also installed UPlay files...and any other important things there). Then, I closed Steam out and ran the Demo for the UPlay version from UPlay - now that version worked. Go bloody figure.

Steam's UPlay fixed my UPlay-only Uplay! Go bloody figure.

I'm guessing like G4WL - UPlay just sometimes when it updates doesn't update properly sometimes! Freaking hell.

So, played it for a few. Sure, it's more action-esque. Sure, there are more modern things thrown in - i.e. (leveling-up system; hints, HUD, and prompts [you can turn those modern prompts and stuff off]). Sure, voice-acting + dialogue ain't nothing great. But, my God - in that UE3 Engine, it looks VERY nice.

Gonna go play demo more. I might have to buy this, for nostalgia's sake + b/c it includes the original FB (even though supposedly it doesn't have music b/c of license issues + it doesn't do a true full-blown full-screen - it sticks your game w/ an arcade cabinet for a border) - but, it's 75% off cheap + on top another 15% off...hard to resist that.

In this case - yeah, whatever Steam did on the install fixed my UPlay!

(Probably b/c it basically reinstalled UPlay and/or updated UPlay's components).

Since UPlay has Flashback Demo listed twice now (one UPlay, one Steam - I wish it would make next to it which one isSteam-version and which one uses UPlay-only.

Oddly enough - my saves from last night disappeared; not showing for Steam or UPlay. Meh.

I ended up turning on a second authentication through having Paypal send my phone text messages with a code I have a short window to enter. It prevents the '*click* ohai you bought it' syndrome

Yeah, I bought Flashback 2013 (UPlay) from GameFly.

I did speak a bit already about FB 2013, from the Demo.

Anyways, about the rumor: yup, it does come w/ Flashback 1993. It's a UPlay Reward you do have to "Unlock" before you can boot.

But, yeah...there's no music, sadly. And that was certainly one of the memorable things about the game, back in the day. Supposedly, they don't even own the original score and can't legally use it. (WTF?)

I don't know why they didn't say recreate the old music (well...that could be legal issue, still); do new music entirely; or just even use new music from FB2013 and put it into FB 1993.

Anyways, about the rumor: yup, it does come w/ Flashback 1993. It's a UPlay Reward you do have to "Unlock" before you can boot.

But, yeah...there's no music, sadly. And that was certainly one of the memorable things about the game, back in the day. Supposedly, they don't even own the original score and can't legally use it. (WTF?)

I don't know why they didn't say recreate the old music (well...that could be legal issue, still); do new music entirely; or just even use new music from FB2013 and put it into FB 1993.

I own both on GOG and it's just a flat 20% off for me ($60 down to $48). I don't own both on Steam though, just the second one. Seems to be regional and most of us regulars here aren't in the Euro region so I don't know, go tell Reddit maybe? Not really worth it though. Like you said, crappy price mistake.

 
Hmm, I guess you can buy up to 5 copies of a game on GMG now (is that new?) Anyone got a 25% off voucher and want to do a group buy on the Skullgirls pack?

*Edit: I'd make an alt account and do one myself but someone here is a snitch to GMG so :roll:

I'd do it but the 25% off voucher doesn't work with credit, and I'm not spending real monies. :p

I'm at $3.75 w/ paid DLC or GTFO.

fuck it, this game is too much hassle and the 'Oh this DLC was free but now you have to pay for it' and 'better hurry up this DLC is going to be paid soon' stuff is BS.

I'll just wait for it to be in a bundle with DLC even if that takes a year or so.

Don't feel stupid. A bunch of games handle it well, but others can't believe you'd prefer to use a keyboard to play their action game.

Ha.

A preorder costs me $35.99 on GOG, the base price is much lower for me due to uh, region reasons. Yeah. That's right.

I wish that price applied to me on Steam too, but it doesn't due to these same regional reasons. :(
