I second The Forest being a great game. 7 Days to Die is good too. Both I would recommend. Biggest difference though is that DayZ has PvP and The Forest and 7 Days are PvE.

I've always assumed the top prices are shady business stuff, like my favorite on some items where it will be selling about .40-.50 every day but one hour in the middle all of sudden two sell for $139 dollars.

Another one you might make money on the cards is LYNE, it's more iffy as I've got anywhere from .66 to .90 (that's a pretty unlikely .90 too by the way) to be made on cards. Going for .74 and should be a short download if you want to go for it. Not feeling like trying it, thus why posting it =p.

Steamworld Dig could definitely go lower, the others possibly but not likely. Typically the rule is -75% or more = not going to get a flash/daily/community deal (though it's happened before).

If any of you missed this in the first Blink Bundle, it's been one of my most played on Steam since I picked it up. It looks like chess, but really it's more of an action game. Any time a piece is attacked, you take control of yours and use its unique abilities to fight off the enemy piece. For example, your golem has a lot of health and a powerful shot, but both the golem and the shot itself are very slow. You'll probably down the enemy basilisk in one shot, but because it's extremely fast, you may not ever hit it. It's a solid remake of the original Archon, and the added campaign mode more than makes up for the lack of online multiplayer. Steam says I'm up to 48 hours played and I'm still not done with the campaign. Oh, and it's less than a dollar. 90% off.

And if any of you did pick it up in that Blink Bundle and haven't played it because of enormous backlogs, give it a try. There's a reason why someone decided to make a remake of this particular old Atari game from 1983. Archon is a classic game, and a pretty unique one.

Just unloaded about 80 Summer Adventure cards for an average of $.47 each.   The 1 and 2's sold for about .49 to .50 each, some are about .43 to.46.  Almost everything listed sold at that price within 15 minutes too. 

Whoever sold their cards at .15 to .25 when the market was bugged earlier lost a lot ~  People couldn't buy so it deflated the card prices.  Now is the time to unload all of your cards in the mid .40's range.  It'll likely work out just like the last Winter Sale dropping in price .03 to .05 each day as the free cards flood the market bottoming out in the low .20's.

But, now I'm not so sure... I'm sitting here trying to figure out the steps I need to do, to try to get to level 8 when I can trade cards tomorrow (I hope), while I leave a game on idle so I can get cards, while I complete offers on Tremor Games to try and get my next badge. You guys are like cigarette smokers, always willing to share their cigarettes with non-smokers...

How in the hell did you get 80 cards already? I'm not exactly a card expert but that's still impressive.

 
Dynasty Warriors 8 is already 30% off, definitely buying if it manages to hit 50% on a daily deal. That seems unlikely though considering it just came out.

Both of The Witcher (TW) games are great, for different reasons.

TW1 just told a great story. It's gameplay's more mouse-and-keyboard driven - and you need to have decent timing.

It's a cool combat system, but it just ain't as great as TW2's combat.

TW2's 3rd chapter isn't that great for the most part (it felt rushed + felt like set-up for TW3)...

...but the other 2 chapters are fantastic.

TW2's combat is a major improvement of TW1. And the game's just stunning to look at it - especially if you can run it maxed-out or close to it.

One thing that's great about the series is that the world's bleak and your decisions will matter. Often, hours later, you'll see the ripple effect of it - and it'll likely be too late for you to reload, since you see results way later. A lot of grey areas on these decisions, too. If there's an obvious "Good moral" type of path - that doesn't always net the best results. Sometimes, you are stuck in a dilemma, all bad decisions no matter what - maybe wanting to try to pick the lesser of how many evil decisions...and again, that might not always be the "best" path to go.

GREAT games.

If you dig RPG's, get 'em.

I've never heard that comparison between Two Worlds and Two Worlds 2 before.

 
So I just discovered the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series and being a big fan of Fallout these games look pretty interesting (figures I finally find something to spend my money on and it's not on sale at all). I'm cheap and only want to buy one game right now, so I'll ask if anyone has played this series which was the better game and why?

I'm mostly looking for a huge open-world map where I can do whatever, the less linear the game the better.

The Forest and 7 Days to Die are other games I've been looking at picking up too lately. I like the concept and idea, but how finished are they? For the most part I really dislike Early Access because by the time the game is actually complete/polished I'll become bored of it and I'll never play it in it's finished state. So many games to play, so little time.

Technically 7 days can be played as pvp if you desire as well.

Here's how to level up super fast right now:

Buy counter strike go cards and make your set, works faster if you buy a bunch of the same card consecutively. Then craft the badge and sell your summer card while the market is still high for them. You pay $.45 per set and get more than that back on the summer card, plus the xp to level up.

Start with SoC. CS isn't well regarded. CoP is well regarded. There's some interesting mods for them too. You generally shouldn't mess with the make-it-harder mods off the bat.
