Totally not a surprise to me. For the last year worth of Steam Killing Floor Sales, they've refused to hit 75% off on the DLC except for maybe the first minute of the sale due to a glitch and then they realize "Oops, the DLC wasn't supposed to be 75% off" and they fix it. They must have wised up this year and made sure not to make the same mistake for the fourth time in a row, though. I set my alarm for 4:57 AM this morning just to wake me up so I get on the computer and hopefully catch the glitch the moment the price changes, should Killing Floor win the vote. It did, I was here, no glitch.

Killing Floor DLC is the bane of my Steam Wishlist's existence. Grrr... Maybe next sale... :(

Yeah, that's why I was surprised because I was banking on it at least glitching during the first few minutes. Nothing like being sleepy/tired and then utterly disappointed.

That's the thing... Avg Game Completion Rate isn't... mouse over it and it will tell you what I already deduced... it's your Avg Achievement % Rate... Giving all games you have 1+ achieves in equal weighting.

I've never understood that thing. I checked his achievement unlock times and they seemed normal - but he might be using SAM creatively, I dunno.

 
Good god, just looked at the team standings, and despite not being able to find a South Park gif that satisfied me, I declare shenanigans!  Green is almost up by 100k at this point, and of course pink is in distant second now so no hope of winning tomorrow for us, but things look good for blue team tomorrow.

Also just a random thing I haven't seen others mention but the Groupees Crack/Games/Techno bundle which includes Speedball 2HD which has 5 drops with cards in mid-teens to low 20s in value, so the bundle could be had for roughly a few cents after card money, assuming you don't get boned with all the low value card drops (one of my cards was like 7 cents lower than the rest).

I should have done my research before purchasing...I thought I would be safe after an entire year after release. I am not. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

PS: Their most recent patch absolutely had nothing on fixing the issues people were having on multiplayer.

EDIT: They're also using bots in the discussion forums spamming "The game runs fine for me and has only been getting better with every patch. I really don't see what the problem is..." Check out user "Laptop65". He has 0 steam level, has his profile on private, and I've seen him three times in separate threads warning users about the game.

I kind of want to buy it more now to see if it is really that bad, but I'm waiting for Mythology to hit that price.

Terraria and Dragon Age have been those prices recently on Steam and not during a seasonal sale, so bleh. :p

Banished is only 50% off and AoE 2 has been 75% off elsewhere and is a disappointing game.

Generosity from two or three CAGs who weren't even my secret santa gifting me a ~$1 game from my wishlist. You guys are the best.

A Word of Advice for Fellow CAGs, Both Newbs and Vets:

If your team is winning an hour before the end of the contest day, write down what's on your wishlist currently and clear it immediately, leaving only the most expensive 3 games.

Edit: Also at the hour-mark it's probably wise to craft a badge if you can do it for around 30 cents from your Steam wallet, as the trading card you get will make your money back when you sell it.

Random Steam Sale Thought (in one sentence):

I know this probably is a :newbie: thing to say, but this Summer Sale has been good from my perspective. It doesn't seem as amazing as years past, but still better than most of the deals year-round. I'm glad I'm around for it this year.
