Anyone else thinking the gog.com sale is/was much better? I should payed more attention to that one.

I only ended up buying one thing from the GOG sale this time around. Most of the stuff that I've wanted from there I grabbed in their insomnia and winter sales. The games I would have bought were in the bundles and I didn't feel like buying the whole things.

While the steam sale is pretty laughable at times, for someone who was on a WOW kick for a few years I found a bunch of games I missed during that time. Plus it was all paid for in gabenbux so I can't complain.

Steam likes to lie. You get both expansions if you redeem a key for FEAR 1. I'm assuming you also get the expansions if you buy FEAR 1 from the Steam store, though you might wanna check the Steamdb first.

Alright, I can confirm buying FEAR on Steam directly gets you both expansions.

Apologies for my mistake for thinking they were MP expansions earlier, I was thinking of the 2 MP packs for FEAR 2, Toy Soldiers and Armored Front.

The Perseus Mandate expansion has some MP stuff, but there's SP content as well. Extraction Point is SP-only.

Looks like it caused shitstorm already by revoking a lot of stolen/unauthtorized keys (SimplyCDKeys, etc.)

In-game looks pretty good, while cut scenes are very ugly (high settings)

Maybe this will make people stop buying keys from those crap sites.

The "loyalty" discount is usually turned off during sales.
