I've never been able to get into any halo game. I've played 2 + 3 since most of my friends are dirty peasants and they both seemed average at best. I'm not sure if it's because I mainly play shooters on the PC but I could never understand the fascination with them.
Enjoyable storyline, solid mechanics, good visuals, and very well done and well balanced multiplayer. Great vehicular combat too. I have the same "Why do people like these games?" feeling with some PC shooters like Quake and Doom, which honestly don't grab me at all, so I suppose it just depends what you played and fell in love with first. I prefer PC shooters 90% of the time now, but I've always had fun with the Halo series.

I also got 6.900 stellar points. The question is, which is the most favourable site to convert those stellar into bitcoin?

I don't know if it was intentional.. but I got 6,900 stellars from signing up the other day (facebook account finally got approval), which ended up converting to $21 bitcoin. I think people originally got $5 in bitcoin? I don't know why this happened, but I like it.
Yes :(

Thought we are supposed to recieve 3750 stellars 'later' (5000 STC in total).

Just had breakfast with some friends from Capcom and they're saying a remaster of the original Resident Evil is coming to PC download next year.

Still waiting on a Code Veronica PC port.  Direct, HD, Remaster, whatever, I'll take it...it's my favorite for whatever reason.

Tell them I'd like Dragon's Dogma and Okami PC ports and to get right on that. Oh and for $5. ;)

I've been watching this project for a while and, while I'll concede that the trailer narration makes no sense, the gameplay looks quite good, if you're into isometric RPGs with turn-based combat.

Also it will be on Steam next week, so Steam-relevance achieved!
I Kickstarted it. #Fakecag

In my sort of defense though they were mostly done when they did the Kickstarter and just were looking for funding to polish it up and add a few extra things.

If I can tear myself away from TITS (I'm only on chapter 1 because I have OCD about stopping to smell the roses and talking to every god damned npc after every event) then I'll try and play it a bit on Friday (or sooner) when they give us Steam keys and see if I can post some impressions.

Until they implement a toggle to make your character run, or just speed them up in general, this game will not be receiving my Steambux.

Does look good, though.

Another free game

http://store.steampowered.com/app/312990/

The Expendabros is an official crossover game from Broforce developer Free Lives, Devolver Digital and The Expendables 3. For more information about Broforce please visit the Steam page and prepare for freedom.

About the Game
The Expendabros have assembled and set their sights on the forces of ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks in the forests of Eastern Europe. Battle in a flurry of bullets and non-stop action through ten full-throttle missions set amongst the picturesque tree tops and the absurdly dangerous lumber mills teeming with enemy soldiers, excessive artillery, and inconveniently placed circular saws. Rescue your brothers in arms and play as seven different legendary soldiers – each with their own unique weapons and special attacks – with up to four players at once in local multiplayer co-op mode.

The Expendabros was created by Broforce developer Free Lives and will be available for download until December 31, 2014.

I hope they don't remove from library :)

State of Derpcay midweek!  Lifeline is cheaper than it was during the Summer sale.  Figured that might be a glitch so I grabbed it... watch it be in the new Humble Bundle in an hour.

New Releases

Road Not Taken- $11.99

Space Hack- Free for 24 hrs

Mind: Path to Thalamus- $11.04

The Counting Kingdom- $8.99

The Expendabros- free until 12/31/14

Rex Rocket- unlocks in 1 hr ($9.99)

RPG Tycoon(early access)- $4.49

BOMB(early access)- $11.24

Dammit, State of Decay Lifeline DLC is already cheaper than the Summer sale price (bought and unplayed). But the base game and Breakdown DLC are more expensive.

Ha... ho?

For those who are terrified of venturing outside of the regular PC threads, the new free Origin On The House game is Wing Commander 3. It's like a more violent version of the musical Cats. There's slightly less singing and a bit more outer space.

Finally tried Jet Gunner today. The main executable had a bunch of bugs for me (couldn't play full screen, and locked up sometimes) so I had to play the standard version located in the steamapps folder. Fortunately this one I could play full screen.

It controls very well, and the jetpack mechanic is pretty easy to pick up. I really like the variety of weapons with a broad range between slow and fast weapons, each with different ranges.

I think someone here already said they nailed the 8-bit aesthetic from the color to the sound, and they really did. The jungle level in particular brought back so many memories of Super C.

I've got Wing Commander 3 on my 3DO and I remember really enjoying it at the time it came out. There's a lot of video, so I'm not sure how well it holds up. The cast is pretty colorful though:

- Mark Hamill

- Malcolm McDowell

- John Rhys-Davies

- Ginger Lynn (yes, the porn star)

- Tim Curry

Just to name a few.

$7.50 for the Ultimate DC Universe Online bundle is sorely tempting. I played a TON of that game.

*EDIT*

Never mind. It only gives you 4 of the DLC packs. Yeah, it's better than buying them separately, but I didn't like the DLC I bought previously enough to spend more than $7.50 on everything.

It's nice that the Meridian "sale" has ended up raising the prices of a few items. Obulis was 90% off as a weekly at $.49, and now is 75% off at $1.24.
