What are you talking about?! It's CLEARLY a violation of his first, seventh, and thirty-fourth amendment rights to free speech/trade agreements and he should sue CAG, or at least start a class action suit.

To be clear, I don't think paypal can actually do anything about it, in regards to forcing CAG's hand. What I mean is if they start to make a stink (which I also doubt,) Cheapy would probably rather avoid the headache. The easiest way to avoid that headache is to simply slap some trading bans, etc - or impliment some simple rules that we follow while publically using the forum, as has been done.

As you agreed, we just need to follow the rules in the public forum. Beyond that, you, me, and CAG probably don't really care.

I don't think whether digital goods are covered by that policy affects Paypal's rules (and thus CAG's rules) about fees, especially the surcharge part. And what does tax have to do with the User Agreement? Is there something that says, "no tax, no rules apply"?

I have one spot in a Borderlands 2 4-pack from Amazon (Yes it comes with the Borderlands 2 Pre Order bonuses) for $36 Paypal. Must be sent as personal >> gift. Only thing with the Amazon pre-order is they don't give out Steam keys until publishers tells them they can or a preload is available so if you wanted to do this you would be waiting until I received them.

Also have a IGN Prime code for 15% off for any Gamersgate purchase permanently (except certain pre-orders offers) for $3

PayPal screwed me out of $150 on a digital goods sale even though I had proof the item was delivered because they don't cover it. Therefore I couldn't give a flying fuck that they want me to pay them extra fees every time I use the site.

The entire "no gift payment" rule is a bit outdated, actually. PayPal has since made additions to the "Personal" payment types, so not only is there "Gift", but there are also options like "Payment Owed" and "Living Expenses", which are generally classified as a money transfer between two trusting parties (which is what happens here).

Payment Owed is basically Gift payment with a different name, which actually applies better to digital sales between CAGs. Not many people use it though because it's new and they don't know what it means, I'd imagine.

And as has been said, PayPal doesn't do anything whatsoever regarding digital sales OR tangible services (i.e. I mowed your lawn, did a crappy job, and you paid me via Purchase > Services, and you're screwed), so it's pretty much a moot subject.

Also, everyone note that pre-ordering Worms Revolution comes with a bonus copy of Worms Armageddon. This is currently the ONLY way to get Worms Armageddon on Steam, and Worms Armageddon is by far the best Worms game ever made (opinionated, yes, but hey).

Got the Galaxy 670 myself, cause I couldn't pass it up at ~$320 (after rebates and 5% back). They're not a great brand, but it was the price I was putting into a 660Ti anyways.
