I was sure of that but saw somebody giving away a Steam key for Far Cry 3 for free in a forum when I googled for Far Cry 3 Steam keys. I tried the key and of course it was already activated BUT it was indeed for Far Cry 3

Most likely from video cards. People get the codes from them and they try and sell them to offset the cost of the card.

Well, I know that AMD cards have Far Cry 3 as a promo but as mentioned earlier, keys were for UPlay (Ubishop) and not Steam
