Its Nothing to do with Steam. Gamersgate stuffed up bigtime over the Christmas sale and as a result a good number of people who were trying to get the Bethesda bundle (very cheap - also low as glitch in system), couldnt get it and everyone complained. So those people got 20% for a year off most games on Gamersgate. You have to ask someone if u want more details.

Thats why you saw cheap Skyrims (albeit sellers probably got good % profit) & other Bethesda games floating around the thread on sale for a while...
