Uh, logging into an account from another region to bypass restrictions and redeem a code is the opposite of legit and is probably against the TOS.

I think in this case "legit" is referring to the fact that he/she can be trusted to do what he/she is advertising to do if you buy said game.

The actual legitimacy of the act is a completely different matter.

Ah sorry I just found it kind of funny. Basically 95% of the posts in this thread are people selling indie bundle keys off. Just go back a few pages and sift through the ones you find there.

It was a little mean, and if you really didn't know I apologize. I know user CheapLikeAFox http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/member.php?u=50729 has a large stash of indie gift things stowed away in his den.

All Steam region Sub IDs for the game is 26756 so it is region free.

They don't have that anymore (and besides, anything under Friend would do it, it didn't have to actually be "gift" so long as it was under that category --I always clicked "Money Owed"). Anywho, my last few transactions no longer had all that as an option. It now simply has one option for purchases and another for "Family & Friends," with no sub-categories (apart from two different possible fees depending on whether you use a CC or not).

Still works, though, so no biggie. :)

I see, just checked it. As recent as paying CheapLikeaFox for HH Gala it still had the page for gift after friend and family. Well, even simpler now, since we are all friends here, right?

And yet people still don't send payment the right way ...
