Any regional discounts available for Bioshock Infinite? I checked bronasium and it seems like there are region locked versions for russia and some other regions, so I guess not.
Seems you can get it for a decent price already through the AMD promo copies though. Just exploring my options before I bite, whether I can do better than the $25 most here are listing it for.

Well I don't like to take sides in disputes like this, but for whatever it's worth, I've traded with fear_me_all a few times and never had problems. I'm hoping it's a miscommunication problem.

Region-locked games come in two varieties: some require just activation in that region, which is very simple with a free VPN, and some check your region every single time you start the game so you have to keep using VPNs all the time, which is not worth it IMHO. Bioshock Infinite falls under the second category, unfortunately. Besides, RU prices are pretty the same as those promo prices, so you're definitely better off with those. Just make sure it's a reputable seller and they're selling a real promo code, not a RU code or anything.

I wasn't around to see whatever discussion went on about fear_me_all, and it looks like it was all deleted now, but like I said, the guy did a lot of legit trades and I had nothing against him. This was my first time trading with him, and he blatantly tried to scam me two different ways in the same transaction.
Looks like he's got a trading ban now, so it shouldn't be happening again. Thanks to the mods for taking care of it.

I wouldn't have bought anything that needs a VPN anyway. Just making sure I wasn't missing any deals before I spend the money, thanks for the info.
Region-locked games come in two varieties: some require just activation in that region, which is very simple with a free VPN, and some check your region every single time you start the game so you have to keep using VPNs all the time, which is not worth it IMHO. Bioshock Infinite falls under the second category, unfortunately. Besides, RU prices are pretty the same as those promo prices, so you're definitely better off with those. I'm curious, how does one get Trading Ban and how will it affect him/her?
Here in CAG we do trades based on simple text message unlike on Steam (function based). Hell, I can simply text your Steam and offer something based on your post in CAG.
