Some Chinese guy scammed me on Steam and he took CS:GO+Killing Floor Bundle and bought me Skyrim. Today the game was removed from my inventory and I got my account restricted !
I sent a ticket to Steam support but wanted to ask whether there is a way to complain to Paypal or not as I think he did a chargeback
 
looking for a hack/slash/loot code. i know the indie royale has it, but i have every single other game in the bundle already. i know some people don't like rougelikes, but i love them... would love to get a code for it. hit me up via pm.

Did you receive Skyrim through Steam's trade interface, or was it sent to you as a gift?
If it was the latter, you're pretty much screwed unfortunately.

I still don't understand how can I be screwed because with my logic a guy made a deal with me, gifted me a game first because his account was new (he did the same with 21 other people) and I gave him my part of the deal from trade window. If he then made a chargeback then he should be considered a criminal. The Gift mail clearly states his email address

That means I am a honest guy and never scam anybody or do any illegal stuff. Even that CS:GO that I gave to him I traded for it not got it free like some other people and you can check my game library because I don't have it

If there is an error please fix it

If the guy was a scammer or did anything illegal I want my games back please

When you agreed to the trade in Steam's trade interface, you traded CS:GO + Killing Floor Bundle for nothing. I do not believe that Steam will consider the Skyrim gift as part of that deal.

Yeah, they would consider these as 2 separate transactions and as "Robotic" as they are they wouldn't use "logic" lol

Steam system is itself a part of the scam IMO

Ah, should have never agreed on a giftable deal for an expensive trade mate.
Always do it in the trade window.

About a month ago my Amalur game from a trade was revoked a few days after I played it, contact steam support with some info and steam gave me my traded game back (Driver and Payday) to my inventory less than a day.

I hope they'll do the same to you but I think it's not looking good if it's outside the trade window.

I traded for CS:GO and Dota 2 copies mainly with that guy and I think these 2 betas are easy for Steam/Valve to give back lol

I am still waiting for their reply though and in the mean time I will post a big topic for me and the other victims of the same guy on Steam forums

How the hell are you able to afford selling Max Payne 3 for $38 (you originally had it at $35)? Unless you've got a connection in the Ukraine, that should be impossible to do without losing money. Makes me wonder if you're buying these copies of MP3 with a stolen credit card.

He is one of my favorite sellers. I have purchased several games from him over the course of many many months now, and I have yet to have a single problem.

Yeah I bought a copy of P.A.M. off of him in January. The transaction went smooth as silk. So I'm not saying that he's conning people or anything with his trades. But he constantly sells games for well below market value. And according to his stream profile, he lives in the US. Doesn't that raise alarms with anybody else?

Oh I see. I guess that makes sense then.

I have no problem with you selling games here that you managed to get through your connection, but I'd be careful with that if i were you. Just a friendly word of advice (and I do honestly mean it as friendly advice) Steam doesn't like people who exploit region price differences on a large scale. People have had their accounts banned for doing that sort of thing.

Humble Bundle pack sales and trades are forbidden, effective immediately. Some people decide to donate $0.01 for the bundles, which is pretty much theft. Blame the cheap CAGs for screwing it up for the rest of us.

If the logic behind not allowing Humble Bundles to be sold here is that they could have been bought for as little as a penny, then any bundle from HB Android #1 onward should be allowed. They raised the minimum price for Steam codes in the middle of HB4, and everything from that point forward requires a minimum bid of $1 to get a steam key. If you have the beat the average bonus, then you probably paid at least $5 for it.

All other bundles have followed suit. It's impossible to buy a bundle for a penny now. So I think the rule against trading bundle codes should be tweaked a bit.
