He'd need a PS3 copy of Portal 2 to register the PS3 Portal key on Steam. It's not the same.
 
I'm looking to start a Torchlight II pre-order group (which also gets you a copy of the original). The four pack saves each person $5 from the regular price.

I'm assuming that once I place the order I should be able to gift the games individually (not sure how gifting TL1 works if the person I try sending it to already has it, hopefully they can re-gift it). We now have all four!

You can't gift the first copy, its 1 on your library and 3 extra copies in your inventory.

You can buy the pack as a gift, have someone reliable unpack it, and get the 3 extra copies back. I've done it many times.

I don't get the option to buy as a gift on 4-packs, it doesn't matter if I already have the game or not.

I guess what I meant to say was that the four pack is four copies of both Torchlight I & II. I was just wondering if I would be able to gift TL1 to someone if they already owned it (so they can re-gift it). Hopefully that's how it works.
