Yeah I got Luxor 2 for $1 last holiday sale and it's pretty fun. Is Quest for the Afterlife pretty much the same as Luxor 2?

You could do a lot worse than the Luxor series. And $3 a pop is cheaper than you're likely to see in stores.

Pretty much; just much much better. Quest has a really great presentation, way ahead of Luxor 2. There is a demo, if you like.
 
Quest for the Afterlife gets stupidly hard after a while. It's a shame, because despite the bad voice acting I was really enjoying the game up until then. Why must casual games have such cruel difficulty curves?
 
Remember to hold off on these if you think you may pick up the MumboJumbo Complete Pack someday. (I, on the other hand, am going to grab Luxor Mahjong; it wasn't included in the complete pack when I bought it.)
