Does this effect copies already traded, such as one i got from one of you fokes? As in, do i need to add to library asap to keep from losing my copy..?

Copies traded before have no regional restrictions as of now. A new version as been created for RU countries and that's what they get now. Copies bought before this have no restrictions, they are effectively region free.

If it's the new version that was introduced today and it's clearly tagged as RU on the gift, yes, it can be retrolocked if the publisher wishes to do so.(Though it's unclear if they will or not do that). If you got a copy before, then it's one of the region free ones that will keep on being region free.
