CAGiversary!
Pre-purchase Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest - the ultimate retro-arcade multiplayer experience, before September 19th and get Darwinia for Free (Regularly $19.99).

Just a heads up, though lots of you probably already purchased Darwinia from Circuit City or Big Lots.

Multiwinia is basically Darwinia with multiplayer minigames, such as king of the hill and "rocket ship" (fuel, load, and launch your rocket before the other teams).

Think they're following suit with the way orange box was sold, where you can 'gift' your extra copy of Darwinia.
Ive never heard of any of these games @_@
Uplink - The only good hacker simulation game.
Defcon - Global Thermonuclear War online MP. Pretty fun but only in the way that a well delivered nuclear barrage is an effective fuck YOU. Everything else is too random. Awesome in its "Wargames" style presentation though.
Darwinia - Save little virtual AI peoples in a computer system. Plays almost exactly like a typical RTS, only the game has really roundabout ways of you doing what are otherwise standard RTS procedures to give an illusion of INNOVATION. That aside, it is a lot of fun and they got a good narrative going on there, that you're a hacker that accidently broke into a scientific system where AI life experiments are taking place and said new life is getting attack by viruses, and you work with a scientist to help those little peoples get safe.

Steam probably offers a whole bunch of deals to get these 3 together for $5 each, and I wouldn't pay more than that for any of them. They're all good games, but not great games.
