Very nice game! I own it and played most of the way through, can't wait to try the other ones.

My favorite PC game, ever. This is one of the very few games that became like an addiction to me. Wholly recommended!

For anyone that likes RPGs, this is a no-brainer purchase. This is really an excellent game, especially with the community produced mods and patches. I bought this game last year during the same Halloween sale and it has been worth every dollar.

Hopefully the steam version can be patched. Theres a few huge unofficial patches that add loads of content, both user created and unreleased, that everyone should install if they can before a play through.

As good as the game was it did indeed ship incomplete and that was the main gripe with many people.
I just bought a copy off of Steam. Hopefully I'll be able to use mods and fan patches.
Keep us updated.

I'm considering buying it again (I already have a physical copy) just so I can play it without the DVD and always have it on my Steam account. Because, frankly, I love it that much.

But if it can't use the mods and whatnot, that would be a deal breaker.

Awright, sold. Dammit -- I just started playing Fallout 3, too. I'll let everyone know how it runs with the Vista 64 patch.

so it's been confirmed by a few of you that it works on vista 64. how about xp64? i know on the game page on steam it says it's not supported...but i guess i was hoping that it was in some way.

it works fine on XP64. They'll just ignore your support request if you have a problem and state that as your OS. Its the same way with most games. I've been using XP64 for the last 2 years with absolutely no issues to speak in pretty much all games i play.

I already have this game also and was thinking about playing it again. My first play through was lost because of a computer problem. However, I thought you could just register your copy with steam without buying it again.
