Curious to see if anybody having this problem or a solution. I contacted Steam Support but god only knows when they'll get back to me. And I tried google and didn't see any responses or if they did they didn't help. So here it goes...
I am trying to chat with a friend of mine and when I send him a request he says the bars blink red and doesn't connect. He tries to send me a chat and I don't receive a notification for a steam chat invite. The mic works fine seeing as I can do the "Test Mic" in steam and we can chat in-game on Counter Strike GO.
I have tried plugging the mic into other USBs, restarting steam, restarting my computer.
Anybody have any ideas??
EDIT: I actually just figured it out.. I was signed onto my spare computer. I exited out of steam on that computer and restarted my computer. And it worked.
