Same here. The game was around $25 during the last Sale event, and my backlog was already looking pretty daunting.

I intend to grab the game at some point, when it's horribly cheap, but not right now.

you will need a DX10 card and vista or higher os (incase you havent switch to a 8 series or 2000 series card and vista/7 os yet) heads up

This. I just can't bring myself to spend over $20 on any PC games knowing in six months there'll be another steam sale.

I don't have the game (have the same backlog problems as others above), but everything I've heard is that the PC version is by far the best because of the mods. I've watched a bunch of Youtube videos of the multiple grappling hooks/strong tether mod and it is stunning the kind of insanity you can get up to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TvKUjgE6y8

Man, now I'm making my self excited about it again, and I really can't justify another game purchase with my backlog as huge as it is. Grrr...

I'm going to get it for both (when it's cheaper). Quick blasts on my laptop, and a more 'serious' (hah!) playthrough on the big TV. It may be the only game I'll pick up on PC and 360 (except for Red Faction: Guerrilla, but $5 in the Steam sale, including the DLC for free? How could I resist!! Great game).

This game is also amazing in triple-monitor / Eyefinity, and is supposed to be amazing in 3D (if you care for that). Just more reason to get it on the PC, if you have the choice. I was supposed to get it free with my video card purchase, have to call about that.

My dad bought ARMA 2 and a voucher for this and RE5 came in the box, I was gonna "borrow" the voucher but this kept me from doing it, pretty lame. I don't want to switch to 7 yet.

Oh well I have a 360.
