Steam weekend deals: $12 UT3, $5 World of Goo

Not much more to say. Unreal Tournament 3 (plus the new Titan pack, which is free for everyone who already owns the game) is $11.99 (regularly $19.99), World of Goo is $4.99 (regularly $19.99). Not bad at all.

UT3 for PC is (or at least was) 9.99 new at EB... and despite it being a boxed copy, you can use the CD key it comes with to add the game to your Steam account, which will handle all the auto-updates + Titan update. Cheaper than 11.99 plus the conversion to USD, if you can find it.

ALSO, the servers are borked right now due to the free weekend promotion that Valve is running, so most people can;t actually download the update. I have been getting increasingly frustrated by Valves decision to not let me purchase stuff because my account and CC are registered in Canada and my IP address says I am in New Zealand.

They block paypal too. I've tried paying both CC and Paypal and it says I am not residing in the country I am paying from.
