Steel Battalion: Line of Contact $9.99 at bestbuy

Wow, that's actually a really good price on a good (yet sadly underplayed) game. ANYONE who has Steel Battalion should pick that up, we need more online players anyway :)

And yes, you need the Steel Batallion controller to play it. Though for $10, it almost might be worth it just to see the demo video at the start ;)

I don't have the first SB, but I'll pick this up becase I plan to but the first one at some point in the future.

Well, it IS only $10 ($13 after tax and ship), and it probably wouldn't be hard to resell it for that if you don't end up getting SB. But if you do get SB and this deal is dead, then you'll probably end up paying $30 for it instead of $10. Might as well get it now just in case, it's not like you have much to lose.
 
Thanks OP! I picked one up for a friend of mine; he's in the Army, stationed right now in Germany. It'll be a nice surprise for him once I can get his address.
 
Picked it up myself, which finally forced me to cough up the $150 the first one. Hopefully Bestbuy.com ships.

For those worried about whether you're even getting the original, I'm pretty sure you can return items bought online in any store. Like others said though, you can probably get your money back and thensome selling it to someone or trading it in. I've never really seen used copies, and I know Gamestop.com is backordered.

I'm pretty sure it's Live-only. And if you mean to tell me you spent the money for the SB controller but think a Live setup is too pricey, you're a liar.
 
It was a pain to get two copies from them ... they cancelled my order at least 10 times (?????) before I had to call them on the phone to get two.

They told me they couldn't verify my information, which is horseshit.
 
dam and i just got it used for 15 minus codes at eb a few weeks ago was about 12 13 so shipping at bb might make it even but just used

Just keep an eye on it obviously they have a lot more left if they jacked it back up like that ... usually they will keep it low until it's all gone.

Basically, Steel Battalion 1 is single-player only, while Line of Contact is multi-player only. You CAN do system link though, so at least Live isn't your *only* option.

shes a keeper no matter what

we've been together for over 3 years....and she stayed with me and dealt with all my video games....she has bought me a bunch of need for speed games before....shes a keeper
 
I hate ppl like that, that try to screw you! $26.00 for shipping my a$$. USPS Priority is $3.85 with 2-3 shipping.
