Anyone have any official boots to trade (or know where to get them cheap)? Please check my trade list - I'll trade games for them. Thanks!

Aren't these illegal, hence bootlegs? :?:

Nope.

The "bootlegs" are recordings of concerts that were officially done and OK'ed by the band. The page where you can buy them seems to be down, but there's a review of one of the concerts here. A few other groups have taken it up afterwards, like my beloved BNL.

That said, I'm not quite sure where you'd go to find them for cheap. eBay is always an option, as is trading with other Pearl Jam fans. There's also a possibility that you'd be able to find them for download somewhere - I found four of the BNL bootlegs on someone's personal webspace a few months back.

No. The band themselves officially released all of their shows from 2000 and 2003 - about 150 total. They have even taken the position that they do not care if fans burn them and trade them around. However, I'm looking for the original CDs and casing/artwork. I've got about 100 shows on CDR but only about 10 or so originals. I guess I'm trying to collect them all although I know it will take forever...
I have a bunch of them.. Are you looking for any ones in particular?
No, not really. If you are interested in a trade, just list the ones you are willing to part with and hopefully we can work out a trade!
Do you mean the tour CDs they released in the brown paper cases?
yeah, those are the ones... anyone got some for trade?

Except that makes them inherently not bootlegs. The definition of bootleg is: "To produce, distribute, or sell without permission or illegally" If the band has given permission for them to distributed, they are, by definition, not bootlegs.

Sorry, just had to be picky :)

Well they became "official" bootlegs because Pearl Jam was tired of having real bootleggers rip off fans, so they named the cd set concert bootlegs or whatever.
I have some (which arent for sale/trade) so I also would recommend:
16th concert of 2000 Katowice Poland.
Mansfield Mass July 11th 2003 because it has a 1st accoustic disc making it a 3 disc set.
I know that Pearl Jam has some available at:
http://www.pearljamstore.com/
dunno if those I mentioned are available on that site. I know a store in Maryland also has lots of them (2000 concerts only since most of 2003 was not available in stores), Maybe you can call them and have them sell them to you (via ebay or some other medium). PM me if you need that info.

Hi! Sorry, but I have none of these, just leaving you a free bump...

I have a few that I would be willing to part with, but I don't have either of the systems on your tradelist. Do you have any games for XBox, PS1, DC, SNES, or NES that you would consider trading for bootlegs?

I'll have to check at home. I have games for all of those systems (except Xbox) - I'll let you know... What boots do you have?

I'm at work, so I don't have a list handy...but if memory serves me correctly I should have anywhere from 15-20 (or more) of the official bootlegs from their 2000 European and U.S tours. Am I correct in assuming you're only interested in the officially released copies?

Yeah, that's correct. I'm slowly trying to collect them all even though I realize it might take a while. I've got most of them on CDR (250+ CDs!) but I'd like the originals eventually... I have a feeling they are going to go on tour this summer and I will fall even further behind...

Yeah, collecting all of the boots is a tough job. I kept up with having at least a CDR copy of each released bootleg until their most recent tour. At that point I decided just to grab copies of the three shows I was lucky enough to attend.

Oh, and I forgot to add N64 as one of the systems I wouldn't mind having more games for!
