I don't have a 360, but this game alone makes we want to buy one. Probably delaying it for more advertisment time and it's coming out 3 days before X-Mas.
 
I rather wait another 3 months and have the game working properly than have another buggy/rushed piece of 360 software come out.

I love DOA. I'm really looking forward to this game, and it's one of the biggest reasons that I want to buy a 360.

This is really cutting it close, definetly not good for DOA4 from a marketing perspective. However, its nice to know that they arent half assing there way to retail. Slow and steady wins the race
 
I'm not the BIGGEST fighter fan, but I'll probably get this. I've liked the series because it was pretty easy to grasp.....

As for the release date, I don't care. Although, IGN has been showing some of the LIVE features, and it seems pretty cool.
 
Sigh, this is the main reason why i'm buying the xbox 360 in the first place. But I do agree, its better to delay a game to make it good instead of rushing it and make it half assed like EA did with their games.

The DC version of DOA2 had the Age Setting factor. So did the Xbox's DOA: Extreme Beach Volleyball. It's not like Sony's the only pervert in the market.
 
I guess this will be the first team ninja game you guys have waited for....don't hold your breath!

the 22nd is a placeholder date...it's a classic Team Ninja delay-- a bunch of press around the time the game is *supposed* to come out, while tecmo USA (who don't know jack) keep feeding EB and GS placeholder dates within a few weeks of each other, until a much later date pops up and becomes the next "real" launch date.....then that date is postponed and it comes out a week or 2 later :lol:


One thing's for sure-- this game is gonna be fucking PERFECT and despite looking similar to other DoA games, it'll use a good bit of the 360's power.

I'm pissed it keeps getting delayed, But on the plus side It did let me put off buying a 360. By the time it does come out I should have a 360.
 
Most of the big titles I was hoping for this year have been pushed back repeatedly. We didn't get Zelda or Oblivion, the least we could get is a decent fighter for the 360 ;)

This sucks that the game was delayed again. This was probably going to be the first 360 title that I bought. Kinda fitting, too. DOA 3 was my first purchased Xbox title.
 
it's one of the last games I want to get for my 360 until next year. part of me is sort of glad it is being delayed, since I have a bunch of stuff to play already.

:roll: I have not played all the 360 games but the ones I have played are not any worse (bug wise) then any other xbox or ps2 games that I love. (I'm not saying they are bug free but I am saying xbox and ps2 games do have their fair share of bugs.)

I'm calling it now: DOA4 isn't coming out this year. Mark my words. It would be a shame too, seeing as it would the first "next-gen" fighter and it was "shaping" up nicely.

Well, in the new GamePro (yeah, I know they suck but I have a free sub) they reviewed DOA4 so it must be pretty damn complete to get reviewed. In fact, I read somewhere that Team Ninja was fixing some technical problems with the online play and that the game was otherwise finished.

Also, GamePro gave it a 5/5.

this reminds me of the whole 100 dollar bill on a string being dragged and chased by an army of fanboys........

Why don't they just delay the damn game until Jan/Feb or something and stop jerking us around with weekly delays? This is annoying.
 
Damn it... oh well, gives me a little more time to get a 360 now.
Their getting a shippment in soon so maybe I'll be lucky and get one just in time for DoA4

Just saw GamePro gave this game a 5 outta 5 score... I believe this is the beta 95% version without the online gameplay..
